FAMILY INTRODUCTION
The Fa family lives in Fort Lee, New Jersey. They are second generation Chinese citizens. The
parents have two children, a 7-year-old daughter, and a 1-year old son. The father has a medical
degree, and the mother stays home to care for the youngest son. Their daughter Jenny has a
visual impairment.

Program information: Euthanasia at home is one of many services that this animal clinic offers.
Policy Information: “We offer a pet euthanasia service done in the comfort of your own home.
Your beloved pet doesn't have to be put into the stressful situation of going to a hospital to spend
the last few moments of his or her life. If you are considering at home euthanasia, please give us
a call”.

Rationale: This was the only animal clinic that specifically stated that they do euthanasia at
home for animals to make their last few moments more comfortable. This animal clinic is located
in the same town that the Fa family lives in, so it is nearby in case of emergencies.

New York since 1938. The church community seems to tightly knit, as they have regular
meetings throughout the week. All community notices and meeting times can be found on this
website.
Policy Information: All people are welcome to visit the temple and participate in the weekly
meetings. Membership dues are $250 for individual members, $500 for families, but the Fa
Family has already paid these dues.

Rationale: While the New York Buddhist Church is located in New York, it is just a 15-minute
