I also Tutor rehabilitation programs for the offenders at Grootvlei and
Mangaung Correctional Centres
I'm currently serving at Brebner High School outgoing SGB.
For more than 25 years I've served in both Primary and High School SGBs
without shame.
I'm knowledgeable about SASA and the Constitution.
I have majors in youth programmes that will benefit the school holistically.

School:
To ensure the schools' efforts and SASA ACT are enhanced.
I understand the school's motto to give QUALITY Education for learners to
OPTIMALLY develop their talents. I also intend to ensure conducive
environment where both Teachers, Learners and Entire staff will form a
synergy of problem solving. Regular circulars encouraging harmony and
participative engagement. To actively apply my skills and knowledge to
ensure equality and the success of the school

About Me:
I’m a Mom of two Brebnerians, my daughter who completed her Matric and
is now an Honours graduate and my son who is currently in Gr8. I'm a
dedicated and principled Mom who loves children and wants to see them
Mrs Mpho Tlhoro achieving their goals in life, without threats like substance abuse and
disruptive activities. I attended College of Nursing, later opting to study
Human Resource at CUT. I applied for a job in the Department of
Education. For 19 years, I have worked in various fields, starting in Human
Resource directorate, accumulating 4 years’ experience, then transferring
to Education Head Office, where I was working directly with schools per
districts for 15 years. I accumulated a lot of experience and have developed
a love for working with students. I know everything when it comes to
schools, because of my experience. I am willing to help the school with
vigour. I'm presently a Director of my NPO, but not using it due to lack of
funding. I'm a Business woman who owned a Restaurant and Internet cafe.
I trust that people will vote for me. I won't disappoint the school, children or
parents.

School:
My accumulated experience from the Department of Education edged me
to want to be with the schools and children again. My skills, knowledge and
experience i have in life at large is the one that makes me feel that i can,
hence I came forth as an SGB candidate.

I am Ivor van Heerden, married with 3 children of which two attend Brebner
High School.
I am also an unashamed born-again Christian who ministers at different
schools within Bloemfontein.

Unemployed at this stage, retrenched in August 2023.

Emergency Medical Assistant - flight medic experience
