Introduction: Tata Motors' commitment to enhancing the quality of life and expanding its global
presence, the company is poised to embark on a significant journey by establishing a strong
foothold in Bangladesh. This strategic move aligns with the company's broader vision of
delivering an improved quality of life to a significant portion of the global population by 2025.
This endeavor intends to make Tata Motors one of the 25 most admired global brands and one of
the most valuable companies worldwide.

1. Strategic Vision:
Tata Motors aims to establish a strong and sustainable presence in Bangladesh, contributing to
the country's economic growth and development. By 2025, the strategic vision is to become a
leading automotive manufacturer in Bangladesh, offering a diverse range of commercial and
passenger vehicles that cater to the evolving needs of the Bangladeshi market.

2. Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Goal:


The Tata Motors SBU responsible for the operations in Bangladesh will have a distinct set of
goals aligned with the overarching strategic vision. The SBU's primary goal will be to establish
Tata Motors as a dominant player in the Bangladeshi automotive market while contributing to the
achievement of the company's 2025 vision.
The SBU's specific goals for operations in Bangladesh include:
a. Market Leadership: The SBU aims to achieve a substantial market share in
Bangladesh's automotive industry.
b. Offering Diverse Product Portfolio: The SBU aims to introduce a wide range of
vehicles, including commercial trucks, buses, passenger cars, and utility vehicles, tailored
to the specific needs and preferences of the Bangladeshi market.
c. Establish Strong Distribution Network: The SBU will strategically establish a robust
