Before using the product, please reading this manual carefully, and correctly use the
product.
After reading, please properly save user manual, and reading it at any time.
Warning
●Don't use wet hand to pull out the power, it may get an electric shock.
●Don’t use damaged wires and connecting cables. Don’t trample, twist or pull the
wires and cables. If the wires and cables are broken, it may cause a fire.
●The analyzer must be used under good earthing.
●Confirm that the input voltage meets the requirements of the instrument, using the
specified specifications fuse.
●Before connect the power cable, please confirm analyzer switch is in a state of
[0].
●Do not be used in inflammable and explosive environment.
●During the instrument running, please do not contact with moving parts to avoid
accidents.
Attention
●The instrument must be used by medical laboratory professionals or trained

doctors, nurses or or laboratory technicians.
●The hospitals or inspection organizations should prepare a maintenance plan, and

in strict accordance with the it to maintenance, otherwise it may result in equipment
failure.
●Please use and save the test strips refer to the user manual, and ensure to use them
in the period of validity.

●Don't use the test strips that exceed of period of validity.
●Don't use turpentine oil, benzene to clean the external of instrument, because it
may cause the change of the color and shape. Scrub with a soft cloth or wet cloth. For
serious besmirch, clean with diluted detergent or alcohol.
●Winter outdoor temperature is lower, the instrument should be save at room

temperature for 24 hours , then use it to test.
Biological hazard mark
● Operators have an obligation to abide the region/ country rules for reagents,
consumables and other emissions, waste liquid and waste sample processing .
●Sample has potential biological risk of infectious, may irritate eyes, skin and
mucous membrane. Operators should comply with the requirements of the
laboratory safety operation, and dressed in personal equipment (e.g., gloves) when
contact related items in the laboratory.

1.1 Description

Reflectivity coefficient of variation (CV) ≤1%
2 Accuracy
Test results with the reference solution value differences is no more than one order of
magnitude, and can not appear reverse differ. Positive reference solution can not
appear negative result, negative reference solution can not be a positive result.
3 Stability
Reflectivity test results of variation (CV) ≤1% within 8 h after start up.
4 Testing speed
Testing speed≥240 tests /h.
5. Carry pollution
Test the positive samples of the each items’ highest concentration test results (except
for specific gravity and PH), then test negative samples. Negative samples can not
appear positive.
6. Safety
Accord with appendix A (the safety requirements, test methods and inspection rules)
and appendix B,(safety requirements and test methods) requirement.
7. Environment
Comply with the provisions of GB/T14710-2009.
8. Electromagnetic compatibility
Accord with the GB/T18268.1-2010 and GB/T18268.26-2010 requirements.
1.2 Introduction
Auto urine analyzer according to the principle of photoelectric colorimetry, through

the reagent area on the test strip and urine biochemical components of the reaction of
color change, determination of urine biochemical content.
When steeped the urine samples of the strip is placed into a strip holder,
transmission device will deliver the strips to the underface of detector, each reagent
block that has produced a chemical reaction on the test strip is irradiated by the light
source, and the reflected light is received by the detector. The reagent and
corresponding composition is an independent reactions, show different color, the color
of the depth and some components in urine is proportional to the relationship. The
color is deeper, the absorption value is bigger, and the reflected value is smaller; on
the other hand, the color is more shallow, the absorption value is smaller, the reflected
value is bigger. That is to say, the depth of the color is proportional to the
concentrations of the components in urine samples. There is a blank block in the

instrument to compensate for errors in urine color and instrument changes. Will each
reagent area reflected light magnitude compared with the blank piece reflected light
quantity, by calculating the reflectivity, instrument according to the reflectivity to
determine the content of biochemical components in urine.

Chapter 2 Installation of auto urine analyzer
2.1 Installation environmental conditions

It is recommended that the instrument be installed by professional personnel;
 Please read this manual carefully and use appropriate wording if installed on your
own;
 Please put the instrument on a steady, flat table, don't put it together with a
centrifuge and other vibratory instruments
 Do not place the instrument in a place where it is chemical substances, corrosive
gases or strong electromagnetic interference;
 Do not place the instrument in a place where it is direct sunlight, humid or high
temperature;
 Before moving the instrument, please split the instrument into two parts: host and
sample conveyor.
 The equipment should be equipped with ventilation and maintenance of the space
required by the operator, and can operate the disconnecting switch and power
plug.
 Do not disassemble or modify the instrument;
 Do not place any liquid bottles on top of the instrument to prevent bottles from
tipping over, liquid leaks into analyzer interior.
 The working temperature range of the instrument is 15 ℃ ~ 35 ℃, the optimum
temperature is 20 ℃ ~ 25 ℃, relative humidity ≤75%.
2.2 Unpacking
Remove the fully automated dry chemical urine analyzer and accessories from the
three boxes A, B, and C, and check with the packing list. If the parts are damaged,
please contact the supplier.

2.3 Installation of the machine

2.3.1 Installation of sample conveyor
（1）After unpacking the sample conveyor, first remove the four feet installed on the
bottom of the box.
（2）Remove the wooden box at both ends and remove the sample conveyor cover.
（3）In the bottom board mounting hole to install the foot bolts and tighten the nut,
fixed firmly.
（4）Remove the two nylon ties that fixed the left and right pushers.
（5）Before use, place the bar code reader assembly with the four screws as shown
in the figure.
（6）The sample conveyor placed in front of the analyzer, insert the two plugs on the
host into the corresponding concave socket of the sample conveyor and strictly next to
the host.
Note: After install the sample conveyor, take off the ribbon between the sample
extractor on the host and the pull plate, then remove the tie between the belt and the
torr frame at the left end of the sample conveyor. Otherwise, the instrument can not
run.
2.3.1.2 Connection of waste liquid bucket/cleaning liquid bucket
Note:
Before install the waste pipe and cleaning pipe, remove the waste and cleaning pipe
from the rear panel.
2.3.2.1 Connection of the waste liquid bucket
The other end of the waste pipe directly installed in the waste liquid bottle cap, and
the waste pipe into the bottle length of 40-50mm, and then the cap installed in the
waste bucket; the length of the waste pipe is 2m, if the distance from the waste pipe is
close to the instrument, you can cut off a length of waste pipe. Do not insert the
twining waste pipe into the waste liquid bucket to prevent the pipe from clogging. The
waste liquid bucket is placed vertically on the floor.
2.3.2.2 Connection of the cleaning liquid bucket
Before connecting the cleaning liquid bucket, first unscrew the cleaning liquid bucket
cap, replace the cleaning liquid bottle cap component that comes with it, then tighten
the cap; then connect the cleaning liquid pipe to the cleaning liquid bucket and cover
it.
2.3.3 Installation of printing paper

（1） Use of a width of 57 mm, less than 45 mm in diameter thermal printing paper
roll;
（2） After unlocking the printer cover, open the printer cover up;
（3） Load the paper into the printer; let the paper pass under the pulley 2 and roll
the knob 1 at the same time to draw the paper and cover the printer cover.（When the
machine charged work, the printer will automatically output the printer paper）
2.3.4 Connection of power line
Connect one end of the power cable to the power port of the device and the other end
to the dedicated power supply on the hospital to ensure reliable grounding of the
power supply.
Note: The socket connected to the power cable must be grounded reliably.
2.3.5 Connect PC
The instrument can be connected to a computer via a communication cable to transfer
data to a computer. Plug one end of the communication cable into the communication
interface on the back of the instrument and the other end into the serial interface of the
computer.
2.3.6 Connect the dot matrix printer
The instrument can be connected to a dot matrix printer and output test results via an
external pin printer. Connect one end of the printer connection to the printer and the
other end to the external printer port on the back of the instrument
Note:
Auto urine analyzer can be connected to EPSON LQ1600K series, EPSON LQ300K
series of dot matrix printer, PANASONIC1121 series of dot matrix printer.
2.3.7 External bar code reader installation
Auto urine analyzer can be connected with the bar code reader, scanning the bar code
on sample tube. Remove the bar code reader from the box, connect the bar code
reader data cable, and the other end of the data cable (RS-232 interface) and auto
analyzer bar code reader interface connected.
2.4 First-boot check

After the instrument is installed, you should to do the first boot check. If you find a
problem or display an error during this process, please contact the supplier.
2.4.1 When the power switch is turned on, the display shows "Instrument initialization,
please wait ...", the instrument is initialized: (Figure 2-1)

2.4.3 Test paper anti-fake IC card use
In Figure 2-2, press the "Settings " button, the pop-up interface shown in

Insert the IC card attached to the test paper, press the "OK" button, the instrument
prompts "check the correct code", you can to test with the normal.
In the process of reading the IC card, there are several cases:
（a)The IC card supplied with each bottle of test paper can only be used once. If you
input again and press the "OK" button, the instrument prompts " The code has been
used";
（b)If the test strip in the test bottle out of shelf life, after reading the IC card, press
the "OK" button, the instrument prompts "expired code".
2.4.4 Use of “OFF”key

After the test work is completed every day, you can press the "OFF " button in
the lower right corner of Figure 2-2, the screen prompts "cleaning", the instrument
will automatically clean the pipeline, the screen displays "Please shut down", then you
can turn off power supply.
2.4.5 Precautions for using the instrument:

(a)Place the test paper in the test paper compartment (in order to ensure the accuracy
of the test, please put the remaining test paper in the test paper tube after the end of
the work, and then cover the top of the test paper tube, Test paper can be stored up to
24 hours);
(b)Place the test tube with the sample on the tube rack and place the tube holder on
the sample conveyor;
(c)press the "Start" button after the instrument automatically test, the end of the test,
built-in thermal machine automatically print test report; (in the instrument test process
do not touch any position on the screen, otherwise it will lead to errors)
(d)the instrument during the test process, some function keys on the screen become
"virtual key" (dotted display), the function key at this time is invalid key;
(e)If the instrument is not displayed as expected, or if the printed result is different
from the expected value, refer to the relevant item setting.
Chapter 3 Auto urine analyzer function and settings
3.1Overview
Auto urine analyzer through the touch screen to achieve man-machine dialogue, the
display shows the relevant settings options and settings, the user only need to press
the corresponding touch key to complete the set operation. Do not use a hard or sharp
object to operate the touch screen to avoid damage to the touch screen.
3.2 Key description

3.3.1 Date setting
Press the main interface (Figure 2-2) "Time setting" button, enter the "Settings Panel"

3.3.7 Language
Press "CN/EN Language " key in Figure 3-2, "Language" to switch between "Chinese"
and "English".

menu. Click "Back " to discard the changes and return to the previous menu.
3.3.8 Test paper setting
Press the "Test Paper Model " key to toggle between UA14/11.

3.3.9 Urobilinogen setting
As shown in Figure 3-2, click"URO Value " key, and "Urobilinogen Primary
Setting" switches between "+3.3", "- 0" or "-3.3".

Press "+ -3.3 / -0 / -3.3" to confirm the changes and return to the previous menu. Click
"Back " to discard the changes and return to the previous menu.
3.3.10 Instrument calibration
Press the "Adjust" button in Figure 3-2 to pop up the page:

Press the corresponding item, pop-up dialog box "Please put the standard bar upside down into the
test paper bin to start the instrument calibration". Press OK to start the instrument calibration,
press the cancel key to cancel the instrument calibration and return to the previous page.
3.3.11 Manufacturer settings
Press the "Manufacturer Settings " button in Figure 3-2 to bring up the dialog box:

3.3.12 Shutdown

Chapter 4 Basic Operation

Disclaimer: Failure to use the equipment in accordance with the instructions in this manual
may damage the protection provided by the equipment.
4.1 Preparation before testing
Warning
● The operator should be trained in operating procedures and read the cautions and precautions
in the instructions carefully.
● Test sample capacity: the sample level in the test tube is not below the mark mark line of the

test tube rack.

● If the foam in the test sample is higher than 5 mm, the sample is allowed to precipitate the
foam to 5 mm below the test.
●The operator should be away from the probe to take the sample position, so as to avoid damage
when the probe moves.
●Avoid testing viscous samples to avoid clogging the probe.
● If there is gross hematuria, placed in the last position of the last test tube, the instrument after
sucking the hematuria, press the "stop" button on the screen, the instrument will automatically
wash, and then continue to normal test.
● The waste liquid bucket of the instrument should be placed on the ground, the waste liquid
tube as far as possible with the ground perpendicular to the flow of waste liquid to ensure smooth.
4.1.1 Test strip★
a) The test paper seal compartment can hold up to 200 test strips, and the test strip can not be
placed in the test paper seal compartment for more than 24 hours. In order to ensure the accuracy
of the test results, please work every day after the end of the sealed box in the test paper into the
test paper bottle, and then cover the top of the test paper bottle, according to the instrument set the
test strip model to prepare test strips.
Note: To ensure the reliability of the test results, please confirm the type of test paper
before use. The test paper selection function is subject to special authorization by the
supplier.
b) Place the test strip: Open the test strip seal cover and place the test strip in the direction of the
test strip mark in the test paper seal compartment.
c) Place the desiccant: Remove the desiccant (2 bags per cartridge) from the test tube and place
the desiccant in the test paper seal compartment.
4.1.2 Test tube requirements★
a) Specifications: Diameter of 15mm, the length of not more than 100mm of the disposable plastic
tube, to ensure that the height of the test tube does not exceed the lower edge of the left front door
of the instrument.
b) Test tube mouth to be neat, can not have extrusion deformation.
4.1.3 Bar code requirements★
a）Barcode type: CODE128, CODE39.
b) Bar code label size: Bar code printing width requirements of not less than 12mm, in order to
avoid rotating in the test tube may make the instrument can not read bar code, so the printing
width is not less than 12mm. The digital of bar code should be no less than 4 bits, no more than
15.
c) The initial blank and end blank of bar code should not be less than 3mm during shearing
d) Bar code label adhesive requirements:
 Bar code paste should be smooth and no wrinkle;
 Paste the bar code in the correct location (the lower edge of the bar code (including initial
blank) not less than the test tube rack marks line), to ensure the correct reading of bar code,
as shown below (image 6-4). Paste and when putting into the test tube rack in the tube,
confirmed from the longitudinal notch of the test tube rack can see all barcode labels the;
 When the bar code is the CODE39 code in lowercase letters, the screen display after scanning,
and print the report on the ID number are the corresponding capital letters with "+"; record

query, unable to enter "+". When record query, unable to input "+", so the record only by the
sample number query, query and not by ID.
Such as: ID number is 36Fa, the corresponding number after scanning is 36F+A, "+" also occupies
a character bit.
4.1.4 The cleaning liquid (concentrated) preparation method.★
The solution of concentrated cleaning liquid bottle into the 10L liquid cleaning barrel attached,

Note: Each barrel cleaning liquid can be tested about 2800 strips in a continuous test
mode.
4.1.5 Check the cleaning liquid bucket, waste liquid bucket and thermal printing paper.★
a) The cleaning liquid bucket: put enough cleaning liquid into the cleaning solution bucket.
b)Waste liquid bucket: correctly install waste liquid bucket.
c) Thermal printing paper: open the cover of the printer, check whether there is printing paper, if
the printing paper color becomes pink, that means printing paper is about to run out, please
change a roll of new printing paper.
4.1.6 Urine samples.★
a)Stick a barcode label on the test tube.
b) Test tube urine sample volume: The test tube sample level is not lower than the test tube rack
mark line.
c)The test tube with urine sample was placed on the test tube rack, and the test tube was vertically
inserted into the rubber base.
d)Place the test tube rack: test tube rack on the load side transfer tray, namely the right side of
emergency port.
Precautions for urine samples:
 Before testing, please fully mix urine samples, but not use centrifuge, otherwise affect the
sensitivity of the results of the examination.
 Use of fresh urine samples. If there is no test within one hour after collection, please seal the
urine and keep it refrigerated, and return it to room temperature before testing.
 Do not add preservatives, disinfectants or detergents to urine samples.
 Urine samples should be kept away from direct sunlight.
 If the urine contains ascorbic acid, the test results of glucose may be lower than its true value.
4.2 Routine test★

4.3 Emergency test★
It is suitable for inserting emergency samples in the normal test,the test methods are as follows:
(1) Putting the urine sample into the test tube, insert the test tube into the test tube rack transfer
tray’s emergency port, push forward the emergency port to the locked position;
(2) Press the "emergency " button, pop-up dialog:

4.4 Under the testing★

4.5 Cancel the test★
Press "cancel test" button, cancel the sample test, return to the main interface.
After cancel the test , the instrument will push all test tube rack, and needle lifting, pipeline
cleaning. After cleaning is completed, complete the test to return to the main page.

4.6 The testing process matters needing attention★

 Do not pull the emergency back directly to the emergency port, so as to avoid damage to the
emergency port.
 Don't move the test rack during the test so as to avoid the confusion of the test sequence.
 Do not close to the suction probe during the test, in order to avoid injuries.
 In the process of testing if the cleaning liquid is ran out of, the analyzer will reminds "Please
add cleaning liquid" and stop testing, please add cleaning liquid into the cleaning bucket,
press "confirm" key make the instrument to return to the main screen and then click the
"start" button to continue the test instrument.
 In the testing process, if the "stop" button is used, the analyzer will test the dropped sample
paper and then stop the test. After the test is stopped, the test tube rack will be reset.
 The marking directions of test strips on test paper and test paper seal are consistent, otherwise
the test strip placed against will lead test paper sealed bin stuck, the instrument can not
operate normally.
 The strip should be flat put into test paper sealed bin, otherwise the test paper will be stuck,if
stuck during the test paper, please open the sealed bin’s cover, put the strip again to continue
the test.
 When the sample appears solid precipitation, it is recommended to use artificial mixing
method for mixing.
Note：
 It is a normal phenomenon if the probability of instrument stuck is not more than 1 %, please
remove the test strip and then re-flat on the test paper seal bin.

Chapter 6 Equipment Maintenance

Articles for maintenance: hairbrush、absorbent cotton, protective gloves, distilled
water. Maintenance and inspections are conducted by trained professionals.
Maintenance and inspection of site ventilation facilities and waste generated shall be
dealt with in accordance with relevant state regulations.
Declaration: If the equipment is not used in accordance with the method specified in this
manual, the protection provided by the equipment may be destroyed.
6.1 Cleaning test paper sealing chamber★
After testing 1000 strips and stopping the test, the screen will show "please clean test paper
sealing chamber ". Then press the "sure" button on the screen and hear two buzzes. The screen
will also show "please clean the platform", then press the "sure" button on the screen to return to
the main screen.
When the screen appears "please clean test paper sealing chamber ", the following methods are
used to clean:
 Open the upper cover of test paper sealing chamber；
 Take out the remaining test paper and place them in a clean, dry test paper tube and seal the
upper cover；
 Clean the sealing chamber inside with a brush，to ensure the wheel inside is clean；
 Cover up the upper cover of test paper sealing chamber；
 Open the upper right of the instrument and put down the baffle on the right side of the
instrument; pour out the sealing chamber;
 Clean the inside of the wheel groove with the brush to make sure the groove is clean.
 Righting test paper sealing chamber and the right side bafflet, and cover the upper right of the
instrument.
6.2 Cleaning Waste Box
Waste Box should be cleaned once a week
 Waste box can hold up to 500 pieces of paper

 The urine is potentially contagious, please take protective measures when
cleaning
 Please dispose of waste paper strips according to the clinical laboratory
regulations
Cleaning method:
 Take out the waste box and discard the test paper in the waste box.
 Flush the waste box with water
 Use cloth to dry the waste box or air dry
 Disinfect the waste box

6.3 Cleaning waste liquid bucket★
Waste liquid tank should be cleaned once a week

6.4 Cleaning fiber optic sensor reflecting mirror★
To avoid dust on the surface of fiber optical sensor so that making the instrument
misjudged, the optical fiber sensor is cleaned once a week.
Cleaning method：After power cut, use the absorbent cotton to wipe fiber sensor
reflecting mirror.
6.5 Cleaning barcode reader scan window★
To avoid stains and dirt on the surface of barcode reader scan window so that making the
barcode reader generate misread or not read barcode phenomenon，barcode reader scan
window is cleaned once a week.
Cleaning method ： Wipe the barcode reader scanning window with the absorbent
cotton.
6.6 Cleaning pump replacement★
To ensure the accurate drop of the instrument, it is recommended that the cleaning
pump be changed once a year.

6.10 Accessories replacement
a. Fuse replacement
Unplug the host power cord; remove the fuse holder on the power socket with a flat
blade screwdriver; put the fuse in the clip of the fuse holder.
b. Waste liquid bucket replacement
The waste liquid bucket advised changes every three months（the cover can be used
for a long time）。
After the instrument suggests that the liquid bucket is full, the waste liquid needs to be
cleaned out.
Method ：Take medical gloves and remove the waste liquid pipe between the main
instrument and the waste liquid bucket bibcock. (One end of the waste liquid barrel
bibcock)，then unscrew the waste liquid bucket cover component and pour the waste
liquid in the designated place. Finally, screwed up the cleaning bucket cover and plug
the waste liquid pipe.
c. Printing paper replacement
First click on the front end of the printed cover plate on the left upper part of the machine,
and the cover plate will be automatically flipped open. Take out the discarded paper
cartridge and press the printer tightly to open it. Press the new printer paper to the printer
press roller. Rotate the printer by hand. Turn around 50mm, and lock the printer clamping

tightly，thread the exposed print paper out of the corresponding slot in the print cover, and
cover with a print cover.
Chapter 7 Transportation and Storage Condition
7.1Transportation requirement
The instrument should be moisture-proof and waterproof in the transportation,

preventing the violent vibration and extrusion. Handling and handling should be
handled gently.
7.2Storage requirement
Instrument should be stored in the absence of chemicals, corrosive gas, ventilation is

good, health, clean, temperature 15 ℃ ~ 35 ℃ of indoor temperature.
