The Kubota Aste Series mini tractor is absolutely intriguing because of its design.

Kubota’s A Series was produced between 1989 and 1997. Not only the design, but also the technologies used made this machine a timeless
solution. The purpose of this blog is to share as much available information as possible because this model was never officially exported to
Europe and Kubota considers individual imports from Japan to be gray market. It is very difficult to find out details about this machine. The
tractor lacks the required certificates and homologations for Europe.

The Kubota Aste is a modern tractor with all the options befitting an all-rounder. Since many people ask for an explanation of the
Monroematic function, we are happy to explain.

Monroematic (A15 – A19 model series) If you have an A15 – A19 model series tractor equipped with the Monroematic automation, which is
primarily intended for the original rotavator, you will appreciate information on how to operate this very useful electronics.

1. Tachometer, hour meter: This shows the speed of the engine and the total number of engine running hours.

2. Combined switch for lights and turn signals: allows control of lights and turn signals.

3. Switch box: An enclosure for controlling various functions.

4. Turn signal indicators: These indicate when the turn signals are on.

5. Indicator lights for individual controls and functions: These lights indicate the status of various controls and functions.

6. Battery charge light: This indicates the charging status of the battery.

7. Oil pressure light: This warns of a low oil pressure level.

8. Bulb light: This indicates when the glow plugs are operating.

9. Lamp for the operation of the TBZ tilt sensor (Monroematic): Indicates whether the tilt sensor is active.

10. Hydraulic control light under the handlebar – lift arms up/down: This indicates the position of the hydraulic lift arms (up or down).

11. Indicator light for the operation of the Monroematic lift arm height control system depending on the rotavator depth sensor.

12. Turn signal lever: This lever is used to activate the turn signals.

13. Switch for lighting switching: Allows you to adjust the lighting to different modes.

14. Horn: The horn is used to warn or signal.

Lift operation

B – C Scales 1-7 set the position of the lifting arms for raising and lowering.

The actual raising and lowering is controlled by the lever under the handlebars.

The speed of lowering the lifting arms is influenced by the setting of the choke valve (26).

1. Setting of ground depth of rotavator depending on switch (4).

2. Adjustment of the extension and retraction of the hydraulic piston rod of the right arm (position relative to the left arm). The yellow field
indicates the neutral horizontal position.

3. Controls automatic tilt control – indicator No. 15. The yellow field represents automatic mode, the blue field indicates that automatic
mode is disabled and can be set with knob No. 27.

4. Controls the ground depth of the rotavator in conjunction with switch 1. Controls the automatic depth control on the rotavator. The
selected value is maintained with preset accuracy. The blue zone indicates that automatic mode is disabled.

5. When reversing, the arms are automatically raised (position in the picture: on).

Hydraulic filter replaced!

Along with the hydraulic oil filter and therefore with the transmission oil change, it is worth checking the quality of the strainer (filter) on the
gearbox output line.
