I. OBJECTIVES
The Department of Education (DepED) remains steadfast in its commitment to
delivering quality, relevant, inclusive, and responsive basic education. This
commitment is further strengthened by the present administration’s Eight-
A. Content Standards
Point Socioeconomic Agenda and the MATATAG Education Agenda to
produce competent, job-ready, active, and responsible citizens, equipped with
essential competencies and skills for lifelong learning.
To reinforce learning, individual progress shall be monitored through the
B. Performance Standards learner’s Reflection Journal, compiling reading experiences, learnings, and
appreciation of Values, Health, and Peace Education.
At the end of the session, the learners will be able to:

IV. PROCEDURES
Review Let the students state the important keywords in the Preamble.
Let the students define what is Public Order and Safety based on their own

understanding.
Show video clips or photos showcasing the different fictional Philippine

Superheroes.
After showing the different fictional heroes, let the students
Activity form their own concept of an ideal superhero and his
powers. Let some volunteers to share their ideas.
Ask the following questions:
What is the name of your ideal superhero?
What are his/her powers?
Analysis What is his/her main priority?
In real life who can you compare your hero to?
Can we consider our policemen, firemen, and the like
as heroes? Why?
Discuss the following:

Review What is the significant point in the preamble in our constitution?
