On Monday, I was given payment transmittals and typed the purchase orders for them. I

also shared my project with my coworkers and supervisor. I wanted them to give me feedback on

it about how I did and to correct me on anything, if need be. On Tuesday, I did more purchase

orders and entered the funds from county reports into the Excel spreadsheet. My coworkers gave

me verbal feedback on my project that I will include in my project narrative. I also took the time

to type my presentation outline and completed that when I was not given any tasks to completed.

On Wednesday, I typed purchase orders and cleared the payments in the system after doing so. I

went to my coworker to confirm something about the programs and the counties associated with

the programs for me. She gave me to information I needed to add to my project booklet. I also

was given time to type my presentation PowerPoint as I was not given any works to complete at

the time. When I was given work, I would stop what I was doing, complete the work, then go

back to doing my PowerPoint after giving the paperwork to my supervisor. On Thursday, I typed

up purchase orders and sent the link of my recorded project presentation to my coworkers and

supervisor. I also entered county report funds into the Excel spreadsheet. On Friday, I typed

purchase orders and cleared payments from the system. I also entered the county funds into the

Excel spreadsheet and was given papers and documents to file.

My time at the Ninth District Opportunity has been good. I have learned that I do grasp

how to do things and how things work better when doing it hands on and being told a couple of

times. I have learned how to prioritize my tasks well when they are given to me. After a while, I

learned which tasks took me longer to do versus others. This allowed me to get more work done

without have a pile of tasks build up on me and cause me to become overwhelmed. I know that

the skills I developed over the course of my internship has been very eye-opening and will be

very useful in my future. I have also made good friends here at the Ninth District and will hold

onto those relationships for as long as they stay. The knowledge I have gathered from and about

this organization will be possibly come in handy one day for either me or someone I know.
