A. Review
Review the tips and phrases of talking about jobs which you’ve learned in the
previous unit.

What should you say while talking about jobs:


• Introducing your job.
• Describing your company.
• Describing your job in detail.
• Saying how you feel about your job.
Tips:
• Be brief and precise.
• Show what you do in your job with detailed information.
• Avoid using technical terms.
• Say the positive aspects rather than the negative.

3. Free talk

Your tutor will ask you to introduce your job or subject you are
studying in your university/college (if you don’t have job
experience).
In your description, there should include:
➢ the title (or your major);
➢ the duties of the job (what your major is about);
➢ the reasons why you like or dislike it.

* Use the strategies and phrases you’ve learned in the previous


unit in your answer.

someone if they ask you.
3. Try to record yourself for review and then listen to yourself to check if you
know how to talk about your job. Repeat the process until you are very familiar
with how to talk about your job.
