WRITING TASK-2

These days, more and more people move away from the area where they were born and brought
up when they become adults.

Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or
experience.

Nowadays, many individuals have started relocating once they become adults. Many believe,
that migrating from one’s hometown can create issues whereas few talk about the positive
outcomes of shifting to a new place. This essay will discuss both the advantages and
disadvantages of people moving from their hometown to a new place.

To start with, shifting to a new city, or a state can allow an individual to exercise freedom.
Entering a city enables people to know about the culture, tradition, customs, people, and history
of that town. To illustrate, a person recently completed his bachelor’s, and now to pursue a
master's he decides to move to a metropolitan city that offers him a variety of opportunities.
Moreover, people get exposed to diverse environment and atmosphere. Apart from that, moving
to a developed state increases the chances of job offers, handsome salaries, and a professional
working area.

On the contrary, resettling can attract isolation, depression, and loneliness. Many times it is seen
that, when students move abroad for further studies they are faced with the obstacle of
loneliness, and anxiety. This overall affects the mental health of the student. Moreover, reshifting
can also result in the depopulation of that particular region and result in a low literacy rate. Even
though settling in an urban area brings a lot of benefits, however, it also creates the problem of
financial constraints as well.

In conclusion, it can be stated that although the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, we
must not eliminate them. The potential trend of migration may allow one to reap benefits at some
point in time, but it may also happen that the person may face difficulty adapting to a new culture
and habitat.
