correct (multiplication and division)

Hands-On Activity (10-12 minutes) YOU DO

(#3, Popsicle Puzzle or similar template, I will prepare during my planning period, I
will of course adapt to G2 level as these problems would be too difficult!)

Review individual work expectations/make anchor chart similar to the one we made
on Thursday for group work (3 minutes)

Guided/Independent Practice (10 minutes) YOU DO

Extra Practice or similar worksheet

ONE IS A MUST DO, ONE IS A CAN DO (for more advanced students, one of
Enrichment printed off pages) and if both of those are complete: Ss can work on a
Sudoku, Maze, or other number puzzle.

UOI English (15:30-16:10)

Lesson Objectives

1) I will learn about natural resources.

2) I will tell the difference between renewable and non-renewable resources.

Hook: Natural Resources by Dr. Binocs video

-Short explanation before hand (will search for/make a simple PPT) about taking
notes. Some students actually ask if they can take notes but it is not a classwide
practiced routine yet.

-Students will take simple notes during the video. At least one thing they learn and
one question.

I Do: Share Natural Resources PPT (Tina found a good one)...

Highlight vocabulary: renewable/non-renewable (add to word wall for this week)

We Do: sort some examples together before Ss do individually

You Do: Sorting energy sources into renewable/non-renewable categories

(worksheet)

Self-reflection: 3 B’s, write in UOI notebook. Scale of 0-3 of following the 3 B’s. Must
write in complete sentences after ranking the reason why. Plus a goal for next week
(model my own example).

If time: SA sharing (2-3 students who have strong examples share with the class)

End: Finish Easter Superbook video/discussion. Easter egg hunt? Could do during
guidance time maybe.
