INTRODUCTION
The classroom is that space bounded by the wall and roof in which a teacher
houses his pupils or students for the purpose of giving instruction to such pupils or
students. In other words, it is a shelter for both teachers and learners so as to engage
education is the greatest legacy a nation can give to its citizens. A good school facility
supports educational enterprises. Research has shown that clean air, good light, and
a small, quiet, comfortable, and safe learning environment are important for academic
achievement.
A great school facility is more than just a building kept in the best possible
shape through routine maintenance, regular inspections, and other preventative work.
If done well, it can create an ideal environment for academic achievement with

Finding ways to focus on the needs of students is always top of mind for high-
performing boards and school districts. Investing in facilities can add up to better
student health, attendance, behavior, and achievement. For teachers, the benefits
include improved morale and instruction. There is no doubt that classroom setup can

whether the setup of the classroom is causing students to lose attention. Addressing
these research gaps could provide valuable insights into tailoring classroom setups to

LITERATURE REVIEW
The quality of education has been reflected not only in the subjects taught and
achievement levels reached but also in the learning environment. The environment
has both reflected and influenced the behavior of students, and it has been affected
by events within and outside of the school (Condition of Education, 1998). Most
educators and researchers have agreed that the total environment should be
Qualified teachers play a very important role in improving the learning process
in schools. Teachers who are able to use facilities as learning resources will have a
positive impact on student success at school. The more complete the facilities in the
school, the more motivated students will be in the learning process (Hariyanto et al.,
2021). In the implementation of learning and education, facilities and infrastructure are
educational institutions will be maintained, and their use will be clear. If the existing
facilities and infrastructure are inadequate, the implementation of the learning process
in schools can be hampered and not run well. Vice versa, if the facilities and
infrastructure are complete and supportive, they will be able to facilitate the learning
process because complete facilities and infrastructure will provide variations in the
for everyone involved. Unfortunately, student behavior can often be affected by this
process. Good classroom management implies not only that the teacher has elicited
the cooperation of the students in minimizing misconduct and can intervene effectively
when misconduct occurs, but also that worthwhile academic activities are occurring
more or less continuously and that the classroom management system as a whole is
misconduct. Many times, by encouraging behavior that is more positive and uplifting
in one classroom, the behavior will carry on into other classrooms, taking the safe

RESEARCH DESIGN
This study will use a true experimental method of research. This method was
The use of the true experimental research method allows the researchers to
analyze the importance of students’ learning and the effect of classroom setup on
students’ academic achievement. Researchers will also collect the data through
survey questionnaires.
The sampling design that the researchers will utilize is assigned sampling. The
population of this study consists of Grade 12 senior high school students at the

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
To carry out the research study, the researchers will create questionnaires to
gather information about the effects of classroom setup on the conducive learning of
the Grade 12 STEM and GA students’ study habits. The researchers will look up
questionnaires from previous research that are relevant to the study in order to have
one. The respondents' responses to the survey will be collected using Google Forms.
Classroom environments such as objects or decor, noise, and poor air quality affect
the students. Conducive classrooms can make the students more relaxed and
focused, making it easier for them to express their thoughts, while poor classroom
setup makes the students distracted and unable to focus on their performance
because they feel bothered and do not feel relaxed. The academic performance of
students depends on how they perform in the classroom. The department is affected
if the students don't perform well in their classes because they represent their
department.
