detailed on the pages attached to this certificate.

This Product Design Assessment (PDA) Certificate remains valid until 01/Jul/2025 or until the Rules and/or Standards used
in the assessment are revised or until there is a design modification warranting design reassessment (whichever occurs first).

Acceptance of product is limited to the "Intended Service" details prescribed in the certificate and as per applicable Rules and
Standards.

This Certificate is valid for installation of the listed product on ABS units which exist or are under contract for construction
on or previous to the effective date of the ABS Rules and standards applied at the time of PDA issuance. Use of the Product
for non-ABS units is subject to agreement between the manufacturer and intended client.

Description:
The InteliDrive DCU Marine Controller is a modular engine control system consisting of the following components:

The InteliVision display units are designed to be used with compatible ComAp controllers - (InteliVision 5 CAN
backlit, IV5CANBL-23226587, InteliVision 8 Marine, InteliVision 12 Touch OEM (RD112OEMBZH), InteliVision
13 Touch (RD1IV13TBME).
They are designed for a high visibility of all engine data, monitoring information and trend history statistics.

Service Restriction:
1. Unit Certification is required for InteliDrive DCU Marine Controller whenever used for essential services (see
definition in 4-8-1/7.3.3) or for services indicated in 4-8-3/Table 7 of ABS Marine Vessels Rules, and as mentioned in
4-1-1/Table 3 (it. 30/35).
2. The safety system functions are to be approved for each installation in accordance with 4-9-1/7.3.2 of the ABS
Marine Vessels Rules.
3. Unit Certification is not required for InteliVision 5 CAN Backlit, InteliVision 8 Marine, InteliVision 12 Touch
OEM and InteliVision 13 Touch.
4. If you or your purchaser requests an ABS Certificate for compliance with a specification of standard; the
specification or standard, including inspection standards and tolerances, you must clearly define the conformity
criteria.
5. If the manufacturer or purchaser request an ABS Certificate for compliance with a specification or standard, the
specification or standard, including inspection standards and tolerances, must be clearly defined.
Comments:
1. Diesel engines are to be fitted with relevant sensor connections for monitoring & shutdowns as per 4-9-6/Table
1A/1B and 4-9-6/Table 4B of the ABS Marine Vessels Rules.
2. For emergency generator application, starting arrangmenent, monitoring, alarms and safeguards are to be in
accordance with 4-8-2/5.15, 4-8-2/5.17 and 4-8-2/5.19 of the ABS Marine Vessels Rules.
3. The shutdown function of the safety system is to be independent of control and monitoring systems in accordance
with 4-9-2/3.1.2 of the ABS Marine Vessels Rules.
4. The automatic shutdown functions mentioned in 4-9-2/9.3 of ABS Marine Vessels Rules are not to be fitted with
manual override.
5. The InteliDrive DCU Marine Controller is classifed as the computer-based system of category II or III, as per 4-9-
3/Table 1 of ABS Marine Vessels Rules, the requirements in 4-9-3/9.3.4 and 4-9-3/Table 2 of the ABS Marine
Vessels Rules are applicable.
6. The functional and operational arrangements are to be specifically approved for each particular application.
7. The Manufacturer has provided a declaration about the control of, or the lack of Asbestos in this product.
