construction on the date of the ABS Rules or specifications used to evaluate the Product.

Use of the Product on an ABS classed vessel, MODU or facility which is contracted after the validity date of the ABS Rules and specifications
used to evaluate the Product, will require re-evaluation of the PDA.

Service Restriction:
- Unit Certification is not required for this product. However, unit certification in accordance with 4-9-3/Table 2 and
4-9-9/Table 2 is required by the user to customize this equipment where this equipment is used for Category II or III
services in 4-9-3/Table 1.
- This product/equipment is to be housed in a suitable RF shielded enclosure with at least 20 dB attenuation.
- Power line filter is required for installing on Bridge/Deck environment except general power distribution zone.
Comments:
- The Manufacturer has provided a declaration about the control of, or the lack of Asbestos in this product.
- If the manufacturer or purchaser's request an ABS Certificate for compliance with a specification or standard, the
specification or standard, including inspection standards and tolerances, must be clearly defined.
- System design of control/monitoring systems for propulsion related systems, intended for ACC or ACCU Vessels
are subject to ABS approval for each application. Interconnecting cables and other passive components included in
any of the above listed modules are also covered by this Type Approval Certificate.
