NOISE

1. Do you like to live in a noisy place or quite place


Well, I tend to lean toward to a quiet place. I find that the tranquility of a quite
place makes me more appealing. It is easier for me to focus on my work and it
provides me an peaceful ambience to escape from a bustle and hustle of the city
life/ relieve stress/ unwind/ immerse myself in nature
2. What kinds of noise disturbs you most?
To be frank, I have to encounter various kinds of noise such as traffic noise,
construction sound. However, the nose that affects me most that has to be the
noise from electric devices. You know, when I was working, the nose of
notification always makes me lose concentration/ eliminate distractions at work.
3. Does noise affect your health?
Absolutely, I find it hard to find out some tranquil spots to escape from hustle
and bustle of city life. This extremely made me feel exhausted and depressed
when I was in nerve-racking time because I find it challenging to blow off
steam in my surroundings.

DICTIONARIES

1. Do you ever use a dictionary?

Yes. Absolutely. Dictionary was considered to be an assistant person when I


was a kid. My passion lies in languages so I used dictionary to look up some
new words to understand their meanings and pronunciations. I find it beneficial
for my English skills which enhances my horizons for more and more words on
a daily basis.

2. What do you use for it?

As I mentioned, dictionary provides me the usages of new or difficult words


that I don’t really know. I can acquire the correct meaning, pronunciation, stress
of any words which makes me appealing in learning process

3. Do you prefer to use an electronic dictionary or a dictionary made of


paper?
I tend to lean toward electronic dictionary simply because I find it convenient
and portable. They can be downloaded on smartphones and I don’t’ need to flig
pages to look for word’s meaning. It’s ability to store and remember a huge
range of words is awe inspiring.
NEWSPAPERS

1. Do you often read newspapers? When?


Well, I read newspaper on a daily basis which allows me to keep updated
with the latest news or current affairs in my country. I tend to read
newspaper in the evening when I finished all the tasks in a day and have
private and tranquil ambiance for myself.
2. How do people in your country get daily news?
As I far as I’m concerned, people in my country can get the daily news
through a variety of forms including TV, radio, smartphone or traditional
newspaper. The young generation tend to lean toward the online news as
they find it cheaper and more convenient. However, the old is captivated by
traditional newspaper because of its reliability.
3. Do you think the international newspaper is important?
Absolutely yes, it is extremely crucial to keep updated with what is happening
to different countries. It serves self-awareness, and you can learn something
from them. We need to know about serious issues of other countries like:
economic, political, epidemic situations in order to avoid bad effects and
contribute to the development of our country as well as the whole world.
