STUDY

This study will focus only on the

Lycopene content in Tomato
(Solanum lycopersium) Seed extract
as the main ingredient in making an
organic anti-wrinkle serum. The
results will be used as an alternative
in avoiding wrinkles. The researcher
will gather all materials needed at
Blk 11 Lot 5 Phase 2 BellaVita
Subdivision, Brgy Tapia, General
Trias City of Cavite.

standards and under the supervision of a qualified person as required by the regulations. The
responsibility of ensuring the safety, quality, and when applicable, the efficacy and/or purity of health
products, shall rest upon all the establishments or persons involved in the production, sale, handling,
packing, transport, distribution, trading and storage thereof.”

INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE
TO BE ABLE TO TEST THE EFFECTIVENESS AND POSSIBILITY OF
TOMATO SEED AS THE MAIN VARIABLE IN CRAFTING THE ANTI-WRINKLE
SERUM. BELOW THE RESEARCHER WILL PERFORM THE METHODOLOGY.
THE PROCEDURE IS SUBDIVIDED INTO 4 PARTS WHICH ARE THE
COLLECTION OF THE MATERIALS, THE PROCESS OF MAKING THE
TOMATO SEED SERUM, MAKING OF THE FINAL PRODUCT, AND THE
COMPARISON, THE RESEARCHER EXECUTES THREE SET-UPS
CONTAINING DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF DROP OF THE TOMATO SEED METHODOLOGY
EXTRACT ANTI-WRINKLE SERUM. SAFETY MEASURES SHALL BE
OBSERVED IN THE EXPERIMENTATION PROPER.

A. GATHERING OF THE MATERIALS

IN ORDER, TO PERFORM THIS STUDY, THE RESEARCHER WILL GATHER
ALL MATERIALS NEEDED SUCH AS AND KITCHEN FOOD SCALE GRAM
FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENT, UTENSILS OR TOOLS, JAR, MATERIALS
NEEDED FOR GRAVITY FILTRATION, GRAPESEED OIL, AND BICARBONATE
SODIUM.
B. PROCESS OF MAKING THE TOMATO SEED SERUM
THE RESEARCHER WILL GET 1-KILO OF TOMATOES FROM THEIR
BACKYARD AND THEN GET THE SEED OF THE TOMATO. PUT THE SEED
IN A JAR NEXT PUT 50ML OF GRAPESEED OIL AFTER THAT PUT ½
TEASPOON OF BICARBONATED SODIUM OR BAKING SODA. CLOSE THE
JAR TIGHTLY AND STORE IT IN A COOL DRY PLACE AND SHAKE EVERY
DAY FOR 1 WEEK.

C. MAKING OF THE FINAL PRODUCT

USE GRAVITY FILTRATION IN SEPARATING THE EXTRACT OF THE
SEED AND PUT IT IN A JAR. GET A CONTAINER WITH HOT WATER IN IT,
AND PUT THE JAR ON IT TO FURTHERMORE SEPARATE THE DESIRED
PRODUCT FROM THE WASTE PRODUCT. AFTER GETTING THE DESIRED METHODOLOGY
PRODUCT WHICH IS THE OIL EXTRACT OF THE TOMATO SEED PUT IT
IN THE SERUM CONTAINER.

D. TRIALS / SET-UP
FOR THE TRIAL PROPER, THE RESEARCHER PREPARES ALL THE
INGREDIENTS THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDED IN EACH SET-UP AND
TOMATO SEED SERUM. FOR THE 1ST SET-UP 3 DROPS OF THE SERUM
IS GOING TO BE USED, FOR THE 2ND SET-UP 4 DROPS OF SERUM IS
GOING TO BE USED, AND FOR THE 3RD SET-UP 5 DROP OF THE SERUM
IS GOING TO BE USED. THE AMOUNT OF DROPS WILL DETERMINE
WHAT AMOUNT OF THE TOMATO SEED ANTI-WRINKLE SERUM IS MORE
EFFECTIVE.
