NOTICE

MOCK TEST for Second Sessional Exam (Online)

NIET- Edorer online portal is ready to conduct online MOCK TEST for all the students of B. Tech
/ M. Tech (Integrated) / MBA(Integrated)/ MCA(Integrated) Odd Semester 2023-24 for the practice of
second sessional examination.

HODs/ Dy HODs are requested to arrange the MOCK TEST for their students in the slots of 30
minutes in their department computer labs on 16 October 2023 (2:30PM – 5:00PM) and 17
October 2023 f (10:00AM – 5:00PM).

General Instruction for students:

1. Exam Login Process: Login through URL: : https://niet.edorer.com and your I’d is your official
email id (for example: 0201cse715@niet.co.in) and default password is 123456

2. Mode of examination: Online through NIET-Edorer Portal (AI based Proctored Exam)

3. Timing: 30 Minutes

4. Question Paper:

 The question paper shall comprise of 100% MCQs. (If Max. Marks of the Subject(s)
are 30 then 30 MCQs will be of 01 mark each i.e. total 30 marks.
5. Mode of Answering:

 All MCQ type questions are required to be answered online against the respective
question number.

6. Syllabus: General.

7. Exam Venue: NIET Computer Lab (As per seating plan).

8. System Requirements: Desk top / Laptop with internet facility & webcam.

9. Only Non Programmable Calculator is allowed.

10. Take your pic through the given option and upload for your identity verification.

11. Please login 15 minutes before starting the examination.

12. Make sure there is no background noise from people talking.

13. Just like a normal exam, make sure you have eaten well and would not need to use the
washrooms during the exam. Keep water bottle with you.
Violation: The act of doing something that is not by NIET exam rule. The actions/ behaviors
listed below will be considering violation act. (Student will be automatically logged out &
barred from the exam)

 This exam is smartly protected by anti-cheating mechanism Lock and Track, which
tracks any violations you make.
 Minimizing the browser or exiting full screen mode is a violation.
 Any attempt to copy paste is a violation.
 Any attempt to google out answers or deviate from the current browser tab is a
violation.
 Use of keys like Ctrl, Cmd, Esc, Alt is a violation.
 This exam also records candidate's video and clicks random images, to eliminate
impersonation or malpractice.
 The AI detects additional faces, sounds, eye movement etc. and raises violation
messages.
 Having multiple faces in the camera is a violation.
 Somebody whispering answers or unwanted audio is a violation.
 Staying away from the camera or your face not visible in camera is a violation.
 All these violations are recorded and will show on your exam report.
 Use of unfair means shall attract penalty or disqualification. So BE HONEST!
 After reaching the maximum number of violations allowed, you will be
automatically logged out and barred from the exam.
 Maximum 03 violations are permitted; after that you will be debarred from that
exam by AI Proctor.

Things ‘To Do’

• Read and understand the exam guidelines carefully
• Reach the Exam Hall (Lab) before the Time.
• Seated on the allocated System before the Start of Exam and Do login 15 minutes
before the starting of examination.
• Nobody will be allowed after Starting the Exam because it will create the Violation.
• Be Seated on the system for Complete duration of the exam.
• Do turn off all application notifications.
• In case of Technical problems? Don’t panic. The problem will be resolved by the
technical person present in the lab.

• In case of internet connectivity issue? Don’t leave your system, it will be resolved by
the technical person present in the lab.
• Please ensure, you have sufficient number of blank sheets for rough work.
• Do check you have the valid institute ID card.
• Raise a Helpdesk query in Chat box, in case of any difficulty faced.
• Do Keep track of the test timer.

Things ‘Not to Do’

• Don't Leave the Exam Hall before completing the Exam Time. Because it can be cause
of Violation to other students.
• Don't Use the Cell Phone, it will be recorded as a violation.
• Don't See on the other Candidate System, It will Record as Violation of Multiple Face
Detected for Other Candidate & Violation of Proper face not detected for himself.
• Be aware, It is AI Proctored Exam. Everything is recorded by the system.
• Do not talk to anybody while taking the Test.
• Do not move away from your computer and Webcam range
• Do not change or minimize browser or exiting full screen mode is a violation
• Do not copy or paste, copy - paste is a violation
• Use of keys like Ctrl, Cmd, Esc, Alt is a violation
• Do be aware, that any suspicion of malpractice or attempted use of unfair means can
lead to your disqualification.
• Do not cover the webcam at any point from start of the Test till your complete exam
duration.
• Any attempt to Google out answers or deviate from the current browser tab is a
violation.
• The AI detects additional faces, sounds, eye movement etc. and raises violation
messages.
• After reaching the maximum number of violations allowed, you screen will be
automatically frozen (locked) and barred from the exam.
• Don't Panic, If Exam is frozen (Locked) than wait for unfrozen, if you are not involving
in any cheating activity. Proctor will take the decision. Proctor’s decision will be Final.
