1. Objectives

To provide traceability system to allow complete and up to date histories of all batches of
finished products.

2. Scope

This SOP describes how finished products are recorded and identified thru lot code/ batch
numbering.

3. Responsibility

Production Manager, Production Assistant, Production Crew

4. Accountability

Production Manager shall be responsible for compliance and implementation of SOP.

5. Procedure

5.1Each bottle and boxes of finished products shall be properly labeled.

5.2All finished products processed is identified by unique Batch Production Number. This is
used to trace all processing steps (storage, distribution and monitoring) for the
Production Operation. The following format is being followed:

5.3The finished goods number is assigned and controlled by the Production Manager.
5.4Boxes are labeled with Batch Number, Product Code, Manufacturing and Expiry Date.
5.5Product identification is noted on the Certificate of Analysis at testing.
5.6All finished products are recorded in the Production Logbook and Stock Card.
5.7Pulling of finished products from the storage is/are recorded through Inventory Request
Slip, Stock Card and/or Delivery Receipt.
