Sports (Sepak Takraw) related accident particularly bone fracture at the right arm.

*THE STUDENT WHO WAS INJURED DURING PRACTICE SESSION IN SEPAK TAKRAW.

NARRATIVE DETAILS OF THE INCIDENT:

It was on March 6, 2024 at 4:45 pm that Cobbhy Joshua and together with his
companions played sepak takraw at the school ground. After 3 minutes of the play, it
happened that Cobbhy was at the moment of bodily imbalance when landing, he used his
right arm instead and the sound of a bone crack was heard. He felt something is dislocated in
his right arm when asked what happened. Then, the teacher, Mr. Junrey L. Curias, who at the
scene at that moment immediately told him not to touch or do something about his right arm.
The parents were then informed about the incident and he was then taken to Albor
District Hospital for check-up and with x-ray as suggested by the attending physician. It was
then found out that there was a fracture in his right arm that the doctor referred them to
Surigao City for immediate further medical actions for the said injury.
ACTION/S TAKEN:
The student was taken immediately at Albor District Hospital.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Take extra self-care when playing ball games, and insure learners in Red Cross, BSP/GSP
and other insurance entities next time
