PERFORMANCE TASK 1

Directions: Choose one simple product that is easy for you to do. List all the ingredients, procedure, and
take photos of you doing that product (making a cookbook recipe) or make a video recorded presentation
(Food and Recipe Video Presentation). Any of these two processes. Computer-generated or legible
handwritten is accepted in making cookbook recipe with colourful photos, or food and recipe video
presentation in MP4 format. Make it in a long bond paper for making a cookbook recipe and place it in a
long folder any color while send the food and recipe video presentation thru my email add:
paul.jimenez001@deped.gov.ph or www.jimenezpb20@yahoo.com. Don’t forget to rename the file of food

POLVORON
TITLE OF MENU/RECIPE

I. INGREDIENTS

- 4 cups all-purpose flour


- 2 cups powdered milk
- ½ butter
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- Wrapper

II. PROCEDURE:

1. Heat a frying pan and put the flour.

2. Toast the flour until you smell the color turns light brown. Make sure to stir it while
toasting to prevent the flour from being burnt.

3. Once the flour is toasted, let it cool down for about 20 minutes then transfer to a mixing
bowl.

4. Add the powdered milk then stir.

5. Put the sugar then stir again.

6. Pour-in the softened butter and mix well.


You may use your clean hands in doing the
procedure.

7. After mixing, let it stand for at least 10 minutes to


allow the butter to cool. This will make the mixture
more intact.

8. Using a polvoron molder, scoop the mixture and then wrap.

Directions: Form a group with your classmates consist of 5 persons. Work together in a group chat, share
ideas, and files that each you have gathered. Search to the internet and choose one simple business that
sells products and business offers services you agreed to put up. Then, posts an advertisement or Video
Recorded Advertisement with some means and ways or descriptions about your products and services on
the internet like FB, Google, Yahoo, You tube and the likes which aims to get the interests and to
patronize by the customers. After posting, notify the teacher that you already done your work. Study each
of them carefully and answer the following questions in a long bond paper;
1. Need and Want- Is your product and service a need or a want? and why?
2. Benefit – What are the benefits of your product and service to customers?
3. Relationship – How can you build a relationship with your customers?
4. Trust – How can you earn a trust and loyalty with your customers with that specific product
and service?
5. Time – Importance of time on your service and in making your product?
6. Target Market- Who will be the potential customers of your product/service?
7. Why did you choose that kind of business?
8. Where can you put up the business and whys is your location a good place to put up the
business?
9. Where and how will you get your products?
