Empowering Faculty for Sustainable Learning: An Enrichment for College and


Senior High School Faculty

INTRODUCTION

In the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of today's professional


world, the ability to navigate uncertainties and cultivate resilience has become
paramount. Standing on the cusp of profound change, it is imperative for
individuals and organizations alike to develop a mindset that not only embraces
uncertainties but also harnesses the power of resilience. This report delves into
the insightful event held on Jan 4, 2024, where distinguished speakers, Rosemarie
Ann L. Silmonet, RGC, and Mr. Carl Niño Bondoc from the IT department, shared
their expertise on this crucial aspect of adapting to the shifting tides of the
contemporary environment. In the session, participants were able to explore the
key insights and transformative perspectives unveiled during this enlightening
session, shedding light on the indispensable skills and mindsets necessary for
thriving in a changing landscape.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The study will answer the following questions:

1. What is the mean rating of the respondents on the activity in terms of:

1.1 Content
1.2 Speaker/Facilitator
1.3 Group Interaction

2. What are the respondents’ Comments and Suggestions?

METHODOLOGY
In this survey, there are thirty (30) participants who responded to the given
evaluation forms. The respondents rated the activity by the scale of 1 to 5; 1-
Poor, 2-Below Average, 3-Average, 4-Above Average, and 5-Excellent. Data
responses gathered and were computed.
The mean ratings on each of the following components of the activity: content
coverage is relevant to the objective of the activity, topic is useful to my
development, content coverage in thorough, Organization, Knowledge of
subject matter, Clarity of voice and presentation, Ability to sustain students
interest and attention, Time allotment, Participants' engagement in discussion,
Moderators' effectiveness, Appropriateness, Adequacy of space and
Conduciveness to activity. All Comments and Suggestions of the students
towards the activity were also presented in this study.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the activity on embracing uncertainties and resilience


resonated profoundly with participants. The invaluable insights shared during the
event have equipped individuals with the tools and perspectives necessary to
confront the challenges of an ever-changing landscape. As evidenced by the
overwhelming feedback received, the activity was rated as excellent by the
participants, highlighting its efficacy in fostering a deeper understanding of
uncertainty management and resilience-building strategies. Moving forward, it is
imperative that we continue to nurture these vital skills and embrace the
mindset needed to thrive amidst uncertainty, paving the way for enduring
success and growth in our personal and professional endeavors.
