Semester B Summative Essay -Final Reflection

You are then required to complete your final summative reflection of

no more than 2000words on your development throughout the
module, summarising your learning need

Relating to your poster

Using a reflective model, provide critical reflection of your learning

need content on this module and application in practice. Your work
must be supported by academic evidence throughout.

The final reflection is marked using the grading criteria for Level 7
with a pass mark of 50%.

This reflection can be written in the 1st or 3rd person. .

Submission for the final reflection is: Semester B Essay: 5th May
2023 before 17:00hrs

Assessment Requirements:
The assessment for this module is in two parts
Students are required to produce a portfolio of evidence of their learning
This will comprise of two pieces of summative work based on the topics covered in the
lesson and a final summative submission at the end of the module will be marked and graded

 Sem A – a submitted poster/in-class 10-minute presentation Poster Size A3

 Sem B - summative reflection of no more than 2000 words on your chosen topic
(poster) from the module and critically reflect on your learning and development
on this topic.
Summative Assessments
Semester A - In-class poster presentation and submission of your poster ( please see timetable
and submission date below
You must provide critical reflection on the nature of a module based topic, what you learnt
from this, how this improved your practice and how this is relevant to the NMC code of
practice.
Your poster will include the following

 SWOT analysis
 Reflective Model - aligned to your topic
 Learning Outcomes
 Learnt Outcomes

This will be in the form of a one sided in-class poster presentation of a maximum of 10mins
