Correction to altitude statement in the User's July 1997
handbook

In issues one, two and three of the 700 Series User's handbook, the information for operation at altitude (page
3.05), was incorrect.
The correct information is listed below:
Altitude
The engine will run correctly up to an altitude of 600 m (2,000 ft). If the engine is to run at an altitude above
this, you must first contact the Applications Department of Perkins Engines.
Please ensure that if possible, operators in your area who use these handbooks know of these changes. If you
have copies of the handbook, please ensure that they are changed in accordance with this bulletin.
These changes will be included in the next revision for all versions of the handbook referred to above.
