1300 Series 61 Issue 1
Fuel Injectors - Remove and Install March 2007

This service bulletin applies to all 1300 series engines.


For the correct procedure to remove the fuel injectors, refer to Workshop Manual TPD 1353E issue 3.
Caution: Do not clean the fuel injectors with solvents or chemicals.
For the correct procedure to inspect and service injector o-rings and the nozzle gasket, refer to Workshop
Manual TPD 1353E issue 3.
After the removal and inspection of the fuel injectors, the fuel injectors must be put into a clean re-sealable
plastic container. The container must be filled with clean engine oil. Ensure that the fuel injectors are covered
with the engine oil. Close the container. The injectors should be removed from the container when they are
ready to be re-fitted.
If returning fuel injectors to PPDC Manchester for a refund of the surcharge ensure that the original fuel injector
is packed in the packaging of the replacement fuel injector.
