Line Tracking:

Participants will develop robots that follow a designated path marked with a line on the floor.
Focus on precision, speed, and sensor integration for line detection.

The Line Tracking Competition is designed to challenge participants to build autonomous

robots capable of following a designated path marked by a contrasting line. The competition
aims to promote creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise in the field of
robotics.

Team Composition:

1. Each team can consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members with a

supervisor.

2. Participants must be registered students upto Bachelor 1st year . Students must provide
valid ID card during event

Robot Specifications:

1. The robot must be fully autonomous, with no remote control during the competition.
Readymade Bots and toys are strictly Prohibited.

2. The robot's maximum dimensions must not exceed 25*25*25cm.

3. All components of the robot must fit within the specified dimensions before the start of
each run.

Track Design:

1. The competition track will consist of a contrasting path marked on a flat surface. The
path may include curves, intersections, and varying line thickness. There may be multiple
way to reach finish line.

2. The track dimensions will be 10*10ft. The thickness of line will be 3cm.

3. The starting point will be clearly marked, and the finishing point will be indicated at the
end of the track.

Competition Rounds:

1. Each team will have multiple rounds to demonstrate their robot's line tracking
capabilities.

2. The robot must start from the designated starting point and complete the track
following the marked line.
3. In case the robot deviates from the line, the team will receive penalty points. The robot
must correct its course and continue the track.

Scoring:

1. Points will be awarded based on completion time and accuracy.

2. Teams will receive bonus points for successfully navigating.

Robot Inspection:

1. Before each round, the robot must undergo a thorough inspection by the event organizers
to ensure compliance with the specifications.

2. Teams must be prepared to adjust if the robot does not meet the specifications.

Code of Conduct:

1. Participants must adhere to a high standard of sportsmanship and respect for fellow
competitors.

2. Any form of cheating, tampering, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate

disqualification.

Awards:

1. Trophies or certificates will be awarded to the teams securing 1st 2nd and 3rd position.
Awards will be given for different categories.

2. Special recognition may be given for creativity, innovation, and effective teamwork.

3. Certificate will be given to all participants whose bots are verified.

Event Day Guidelines

1. Teams must arrive at the venue by specified time.

2. A practice session may be scheduled before the actual competition.

3. Any technical issues or malfunctions during the competition must be resolved by the
team
