Education is a topic gaining a lot of attention nowadays due to its important in
many aspects. Because of that, having a reasonable syllabus in order to educate
pupils effectively is vital because it is play a decisive role in promoting students’ knowledge and skills. Therefore, there are many argues that every school should only pay attention for crucial subjects, such as Math, Technology, Science… instead of others. However, some has the belief: art subjects like music, drama and creative writing should be included in every school curriculum and I also believe in that due to some reasons below. Firstly, art subjects can avoid students from switching off while studying. Music, for example, many researches has pointed out that listen to our favourite kind of sound or beats can increase Dopamine which is happiness hormone, thus allowed students to be more vigorous and pay more focus on their studies if they has been taught Music before other subjects. More importantly, after being taught a certain art, students can blow off their steam to think more clearly, ready to learn other subjects effectively. Secondly, including art subjects in syllabus can encourage students those who are gifted in creativity have a chance to guarantee a decent job in the future. Many pupils are good at musical intrsuments or have such a wonderful acting skills, but they are introverted, reserved and skeptical about themselves so their ability can not be seen and acknowledged. Therefore, if school teach and encourage those by providing them courses improving, cultivating their skills, they can be more confident to show of their gifted talents or can be even better that indirectly help them guarantee a well-paid job when they are mature. The last reason is that encouraging arts in school will certainly help to keep our culture and tradition alive. For instance, in VietNam, making conical hats is a traditional occupation, but nowadays it is gradually losing because people are no longer need it anymore. Therefore, when school teach pupils, younger generations especially making conical hat, then they are keeping VietNamese iconic tradition keep existing on the one hand, one the other hand showing the youth about VietNamese admirable and how valueable it is. In conclusion, I strongly agree, that arts subjects do play a fundamental role in a student's life, therefore schools should place equal importance to these subjects as well and ought to provide a healthy balance of all subjects, thus to facilitate healthy development of both physical and mental abilities.
