Terms and Conditions


1. The offer and scope of Phoenix Calibration arelimited to what is expressed in this document, this quotation is valid for the client indicated in it and cannot be transferred, are limited
2. With the approval of the quote, the client accepts the calibration methods, terms and conditions of the provision of the service.
3. Any changes about the conditions of the offer must be previously evaluated and approved before placing a Purchase Order.
4. This service will be performed following the appropriate calibration methods and procedures implemented by Phoenix Calibration, otherwise, the customer must specified on the requirement. The calibration
methods and procedures selected and implemented by Phoenix Calibration are endorsed by international, regional,or national standards.
5. The statement of conformity is based on simple acceptance unless the decision rule is specified on the customer's request, standard, or calibration procedure.
6. Items 4 and 5 only apply to ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibrations.
7. Non-accredited ("NIST Traceable") calibrations only meet the traceability requirement.
8. Our promise of services is 3-5 days after payment is received and confirmed or purchase order has been placed.
9. Any modification to the original requirement could cause changes in the price and promise of the delivery time, for which both will be subject to written confirmation.
10. The charge for a calibration service is independent of its result. Failed calibrations are billed since the investment of resources is necessary to execute the calibration process to be able to determine the
condition of the instrument.
11. The price of the calibration does not include repair, installation, or the supply of spare parts, unless it is clearly expressed in it.
12. The calibration certificates will be available on our web portal within 72 hours after the service has been performed, as long as they have a purchase order or payment has been received.

Terms of Service
1. The equipment must be delivered with all the mechanical, electrical, software, power supplies, material samples,or other accessories, in a perfect state of cleanliness and operation, if batteries are needed for the
instrument calibration, these should have appropriated levels of charge.
2. If necessary, the client must provide the catalog, manual,or equipment operating instructions.
3. For the provision of service at the customer's facilities, the customer must ensure that there is a person available who knows the operation of the equipment to perform the functional tests before the start of the
calibration operations and to receive the equipment after the provision. from service.In addition, guarantee the safety of the personnel during the execution of the service.
4. Packaging of equipment to be shipped to Phoenix Calibration facilities is the responsibility of the customer.
5. In the calibration service,it is not contemplated to carry out maintenance work unless it is indicated in the proposal, therefore, it is recommended that the client carry out the necessary maintenance work beforethe
execution of the service that guarantees the correct operation of the equipment.
6. The guarantee of calibration services is 1 month from the execution of the service, the same is for the calibration certification process, as long as the instrument remains intact and in the same conditions that it
was delivered to the client, It does not apply in case of damage or changes in its status of metrological confirmation due to damage, blows, electrical problems, repairs or other situations after the execution of the
service.
7. As part of the laboratory's commitment to impartiality, the laboratory's activities will be carried out without allowing commercial, financial,or other pressures that compromise the impartiality of the results. If this is
compromised, the technician is authorized to proceed with the suspension of the test. service.
8. Phoenix Calibration is not responsible for equipment left in our facilities for periods longer than 12 months without prior agreement between the parties.
9. The result of the calibration must be reviewed by the customer to assess its conformity to their processes.
10. The calibration service provided under this contract does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the equipment and metrologically confirmed “compliant” status until the next calibration date. Calibration
frequency must be assigned by the customer.
11. Phoenix Calibration reserves the right to suspend, reschedule, or cancel calibration services during acts of God, civil unrest, road closures, natural disasters, or situations deemed to be force majeure.
12. Phoenix Calibration issues invoices only until the 24th of each month unless previously agreed with the client.

Sales Policies, Guarantees and Returns


1. Every Phoenix Calibration proposal details the characteristics, specifications,and accessories of the equipment or services offered;it is the customer's responsibility to validate this according to their requirement.
2. If additional services are required, such as calibration or maintenance, or training, these must be included in the previous requirement. Any request after the order has been processed may incur additional costs.
3. If any special logistics process is required (transport, cargo movement, among others), they must be indicated in the prior request. Any request after the order has been processed may incur in additional costs.
4. The purchase order or payment is necessary to start the purchase process and consequently,the delivery of your merchandise in the time stipulated in the quotation.
5. After your purchase order is confirmed as received and processed, its cancellation or changes in it will be subject to availability.
6. Inventory and delivery promises are subject to the validity of the quote, after quote expiration date ,an updated proposal must be requested.
7. The equipment and parts will have a manufacturer's warranty through Phoenix Calibration, this warranty is subject to its terms and conditions. Phoenix Calibration is committed to remedying product
malfunctions that are defective in design, materials, or manufacturing. This obligation does not applyto the following cases:
a. Improper use of equipment.
b. Improper storage or handling conditions.
c. Failure to comply with installation or maintenance processes.
d. Any other incident for which Phoenix Calibration is not responsible.
8. Exercise of the Guarantee: Phoenix Calibration will assume on its own the best terms and means for the fulfillment of the guarantee. The parts and/or equipment to be replaced must be returned to Phoenix
Calibration in their original packaging and optimal conditions (as delivered).
9. Defective products must be notified and returned no later than 30 days after notification of the defect. The buyer must offer all the facilities for Phoenix Calibration to verify the defects.
10. Phoenix Calibration will accept and process the return of any equipment that does not meet the specifications provided on the purchase order. The return of damaged, broken,or in poor condition due to misuse
will not be accepted.
11. Phoenix Calibration reserves the right to accept returns in cases other than those expressed in the previous points. In the case of accepting the return, the client will assume the additional costs that may arise.
