Issue(s)/symptom(s):
Unfortunately a batch of our Motor Filter Units boards (MFU, revision D)
has been produced with a failure in the firmware which may cause the
processor to unintentionally reinitialize and trigger the error message
“MFU Lost” in the processor History list.
The failure in the firmware is causing the Central Processing Unit (CPU)
on the MFU board to be sensitive to heat applied which causes the
communication between the boards to slow down which again eventually
causes the processor to reinitialize. The symptom will appear as “MFU
Lost” in the processor History list.
The issue is believed to potentially happen only during the following
conditions or combinations hereof:
Brush pressure adjusted too high (beyond specs outlined in SM)
Areas with power supply of 240V
