SUBJECT: Release of New Torque Converter Pumps

EQUIPMENT AFFECTED: DP 8000 Model Transmission

EFFECTIVE SERIAL NUMBERS: TC 840, TC 860 - S/N 6697

TC 880 - S/N 6800 approximately
TC 890 - S/N 6819

This is to advise of the release of new torque converter pumps with an improved outside diameter flange.
The improved flange is to prevent high hour fatigue cracks in the outer diameter of the pump shell.

Interchaweabilitv:
The current pumps directly replace the former pumps, but must be used with the current bolts and
washers.

SDare Parts Information:

Current pump assemblies will be used to service both current and former pump assemblies. When
replacing former pump assemblies with current pump assemblies, also order (36) bolt, P/N 9409043 and
(36) washer, P/N 2436 163.
