Subject: Obsolescence of 19-in. Cyberbase display

Product Model: CYB-6

Effectivity: All CyberbaseTM operator stations with 19-in. display mounted on armrests

Affected Assemblies: CyberbaseTM CYB-6 monitor house

Objective
To inform customers that the 19-in. display used on Cyberbase model CYB-6, has reached its end-of-life.
NOV has a limited stock of these displays that will be offered as a spare part.

Issue
The 19-in. display has been discontinued by the supplier.

Solution
Customers are advised to review their inventory of these 19-in. displays and place any necessary orders
as soon as possible due to the limited stock of spare displays. The availability of these displays cannot be
guaranteed beyond the limited stock currently available.
An alternative to this display size is to upgrade the Cyberbase Control System to use a 21.5-in.
widescreen display in 16:9 format which is now the industry standard format for displays. This upgrade
will have a cost and scope impact. Please contact NOV for a quote for rig-specific upgrades.

Economic Impact
All parts, necessary software updates and installation at Customer cost. Parts will be supplied by NOV,
delivered FCA, NOV facility, (Incoterms 2020), for all equipment defined by NOV to be affected by the
above described issue.
