Warmest greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am Mr. MEYRICK L. CO, of Doneza St. Barangay Maura Aparri. I make my living as a Small
Businessman here in Aparri, Cagayan. I am the Owner/Proprietor of ML CO Electrical Supplies
& General Merchandise which is formerly Paramount Glass and Electrical Supplies which is
located at Rizal corner Balisi St. Brgy. Centro 15, Aparri, Cagayan. An establishment that have
been our family’s legacy for a long time.

In this coming election I will be vying as one of the Barangay Kagawad of our barangay. I
am running as an Independent Candidate, because I have a strong stand on my own cause and I
believe that the I should be the only one who will be held accountable on the Ideals and
Principles to the kind of Platforms that I will be working on if I will be fortunate enough to be an
Official of this Barangay.

On account of that, I am writing to ask for your indulgence and be included in the support
of the unity of the Holy Church.

I have held various positions on different Socio-Civic Organizations that I belonged to, such
as:
a. ALUMNI PRESIDENT - United Ilocandia Fraternity/Sorrority Inc. Aparri, Chapter;
b. BOARD OF DIRECTOR - United Ilocandia International;
c. Club Secretary - The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles Inc. (Aparri Sabangan
CV Eagles Club);
d. Asst. Secretary - The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles Inc. CVR-2 (Cagayan
Valley Eagles Club Region 2);
e. Regional Secretary - Philippine Guardians Dominant Legion (PGDL Guardians
Cagayan). Rank - "FSRMG"
f. Vice President - BAYAN KO LINIS KO, The Aparri As One Environmental Group;
g. Member - Provincial Planning & Devt. Council. Cagayan
h. Member - Municipal Planning & Development Council

All of these Organizations are directly involved in Socio-Civic Programs that regularly
conduct activities that aim to reach out to our less fortunate citizens with the objective of
livelihood alleviation.
 These activities kept on, even at the on set of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Our dedication
were not hampered as we went on with the different activities like doing Relief Operations;
Voluntary Checkpoint Marshal; Assisting Government Agencies in the Packing, Transporting
and Distribution of Government Amelioration Programs; Providing Medical and Dental
Missions; Distributing School Supplies to less privilege children; Organizing Livelihood as well
as First Aid Trainings; Coastal & Community Clean Up; Community Feeding, etc. Though most
of these activities were not published on Social Media because we believe that the strength and
desire to serve did not emanate from us but from God, and must not be brandish as to take
credit from him.

I treat these positions that that were entrusted to me and the experiences from our
numerous activities as testaments of my Competent Enthusiasm towards Community Service
and Amenable Management of any Organized Institution.

I am also the youngest living son of the late Primitivo A. Co, a former Three Term Vice
Mayor of Aparri and was a Barangay Captain of Barangay Maura for over 20 years. A feat that
he accomplished with the overwhelming support of your Congregation.

With almost 40 years of experience under his belt, Public Service became natural for me
and my family. But there are much work to be done for the betterment of Barangay Maura. I
am fully aware of the changes that must be done and someone must bold enough to effect that
change. That is why I am offering myself because I believe it is time to have a qualified and a
Competent member of the Barangay Council that can initiate the revamp that this Barangay
needs.

I cannot do all of these without your assistance. Your support will give me an advantage to
having the opportunity to serve this Barangay. Rest assured that I will selflessly fulfill that
mandate and trough the guidance of our Lord God, I will not do anything that will ruin my
reputation as an individual and will not do things that will violate the doctrine and rules of the
Iglesia ni Cristo.
