GRT-LPG10 Spray Dryer

Introduction
Spray drying is the most wide applied process in liquid process shaping and drying industry. The
drying technology is most suitable for producing solid powder products from liquid material, such as :
solution, emulsion, suspension and pumpable paste states. For this reason, the powder and
distribution of the final products, residual water contents, mass density and the shape must meet the
precise standard, spray drying is one of the most desired technologies.

Principle
After filtering and heating by the heat source device, hot air into the dryer on top of the air distributor,
hot air spiraling evenly into the drying chamber. Material liquid via high-speed centrifugal atomizer,
on top of the tower body (rotating) into a very fine mist spray liquid bead, contact with the hot air and
flow, in a very short period of time can be dry for the finished product. Finished products
continuously by drying the bottom and the output of the cyclone separator, exhaust fan emptying.
Through a very short time of contacting the hot air,materials get dried.The final products discharge c
ontinuously from the bottom of the drying tower and from the cyclones.The waste gas will be dischar
ged from blower.

1.At a high speed of drying, after spraying of the material liquid, the surface area will be increased
greatly. In the hot air flow, 95%-98% of water can be evaporated at a moment. The time of completing
the drying needs only several seconds.
2.This is especially suitable for drying the heat sensitive materials. Its final products own good
uniformity, mobility, dissolving capacity. And the final products are high in their purity and good in
their quality.
3.The production procedures are simple and the operation and control are easy. The liquid with the
moisture contents 50-80% (for special materials, the contents may reach 98%) can be dried into the
powder products for one time.
4.After drying, there is no need for crushing and sieving, so as to reduce operation procedures in the
production and to enhance product purity.
5.The product particle diameters, looseness and water contents can be adjusted through changing the
operation condition in a certain scope. It is very convenient to carry out control and manage.
