Material: Concrete
Ferrock
Ferrock is considered as alternative to concrete because of its
environmental and sustainability advantages. For instance, Ferrock
material is made of ground silica glass and waste steel dust, thus a
product from recycling waste steel dust and silica glass.
Test have proved that Ferrock materials have equivalent
compression strength same as concrete and since it’s a composite
material, it has enhanced tensile strength than concrete thus not
affected by climate to crack as concrete. Therefore it’s more
durable compared to concrete.
Concrete structures are affected by climate and weather factors,
For example concrete in moist or wet regions are affected by
moulds and prolonged water or moisture results to cracks thus
lowering life. But with ferrock, they are waterproof thus can
survive in wet and cold climate and serve for longer time.
Ferrock is classified as carbon-negative concrete alternative, to
mean it eliminate the negative environmental impact due to
carbon emission from due to use of concrete in construction
projects. Therefore, they can be made with provisions for future
extension
Since they are more durable, its very unlikely for the ferrock
material to disintegrate thus its safe for refurbishment if needed.

Tempered glass is widely considering alternative for glazing in
construction works because of its strength. Its high quality come
from hardening, it is produced from treating normal glass in
chemical processes and thermal treatment to introduce strength-
enhancing properties.
Thermal treatments and chemical processes included in
hardening of normal glass increases strength properties of
tempered glass thus more durable than normal glass
Alteration of thermal and chemical properties of glass increases
its versatility, strength and make it impact resistance, therefore,
it does not easily crack as laminated glass thus when used in
construction provide extended service life compared to
normal/laminated glass.
They are manufactured in various sizes, therefore, if there is
need to enlarge the window size, there are variety of sizes to fit
the new dimension without much hustle
They are fit-in designed, to mean they are available in standard
sizes, so if there is need for replacement of refurbishment, they
are just bought and easily fit into position.

About 97% of AshCrete are recycled materials, thus the
first compliance with regulatory restrictions
It uses fly ash instead of cement, fly ash is ecofriendly
materials therefore fly ash complies with environmental
and sustainability regulations and standards.
The sustainability standards promote the use of
environmentally friendly materials with enhanced strength
than conventional materials, AshCrete is made with small
pores to enhance to give it about twice the strength of
Portland cement, thus meeting standard restrictions.
