APPLYING FOR GRADUATE HOUSING
Random Lottery Number
The best numbers (lowest numbers) are assigned to students who apply for housing by the Lottery deadline in early May. These
numbers are assigned randomly after the May deadline. Students who miss the May deadline will receive a sequential number
based on the date the application was submitted. When the assignment system gets to your priority level, it will assign you
according to your application number.

Assignment Priority Levels for Graduate Students in Their First Graduate Program at Stanford
