Ventilation of Lead Acid Batteries as per Standard BS EN 50272

For a 110 V battery composed of 55 cells T-600 HP operating on float charge, air flow rate of 1.65 m3/h is
required for proper ventilation and to maintain the hydrogen concentration below 4% vol of the available free
space.

For a 110 V battery composed of 55 cells T-600 HP operating on boost charge, air flow rate of 13.2 m3/h is
required for proper ventilation and to maintain the hydrogen concentration below 4% vol of the available free
space.
