REFLECT
1. Name at least five skills that a teacher should have to be
able to come up with effective board displays/Bulletin board. Elaborate on why
each skill is needed.
Creative and visualization skills - creativity should be instill in teacher's ability in
order to have a good lay out design, and give out more appealing board to all
kind kinds of audience. Furthermore,s/he should have the ability that can
visualize things putting all her perspective into balance and apply to board in an
enticing way.
Organization skill- even though the teacher's has creative and visualization
skills, they need also to organize material that could lead in a more balance way,
Communication skill - a teacher should know to be good in communication,
however they also need to apply this skill in creating a board, because displaying
materials in this board is conveying a message or information and this kind of
process is can be called as communication skill.
Grammar skill - a teacher should be skill in relation to grammar. The bulletin
board will be shown to different audience and as much as possible they need to

do well on spelling and how the words being connected
Minimalistic skill - we should no be spend much money for something in an
extravagant way. A teacher should know how they can found resources in not so
expensive way. This is to teach student that you don't need to spend so much
money, but instead find way for an alternative idea in order to achieve one's goal
morally.
2. Which of the skills you named in #1 do you already have? Recall your past
experience in making bulletin board. How do you practice these skills?
In my past experiences in making bulletin board the skill I already have was
creative and visualization skills because as far as I remember I am good in
creating things and making lay out. I practice these skill through doing it
continuously until now and I want to improve it more.

3. Which skills do you still need to develop? What concrete steps will you take on
how you can improve on or acquire these skills.
The skills I need to develop is in grammar and communication skills, I guess I
need to work on this through reading, and getting back some of my lessons I
already forgot. I am not a person who is typically good in communicating
because it is one of my weakness so I think I need to talk more and socialize
with other people to develop or improve it.
