Answers:
1. Natural resources are raw materials, materials, or components that surround us and
occur naturally in the environment. They are of great importance as they serve for the
comfort and well-being of human beings.

2. The classification is divided into renewable and non-renewable resources.

Renewable resources are the resources that nature provides us with, which do not
get depleted. Examples include water, wind, and rain. Non-renewable resources are
also provided by nature, but they can be depleted as they take longer to regenerate
than they are consumed. Examples include petroleum, minerals, metals, and natural
gas.

3. Natural resources are very important for humans as they are used for consumption,
production of raw materials, and energy necessary in economic production, lifestyle,
electricity, transportation, entertainment, and industrial productions.

4. Currently, natural resources are needed to meet needs and demands, and they are
at risk of depletion.

5. B. The problems that arise are deforestation, food supply, scarcity of clean water,
over-exploitation of resources crisis, and energy scarcity.
