Hello! The Epic Games Education team is excited to be getting involved with WorldSkills to help
provide students with opportunities to prepare for careers in industries related to emerging
technology. Our team would like to support those participating (or interested in participating) in
the WorldSkills 3D Digital Game Art competition (skill 50) in anticipation of the upcoming
competition in Lyon. We will be offering training and guidance for the community.

In addition to 3D Digital Game Art, we have been involved with SkillsUSA supporting their 3D
Visualization and Animation and Interactive App and Video Game Development competitions. In
time, we would love to bring these competitions to WorldSkills, hopefully in time for WorldSkills
Shanghai!

Both of these fields are growing fast and creating career opportunities for young people with
skills in Interactive 3D. According to the Burning Glass Report, Visualizing the Future, demand
for real-time 3D skills, which are at the technological frontier of 3D graphics, has grown 601%
faster than the market overall. Join us for a webinar to hear more!

Webinar: WorldSkills 3D Digital Game Art (and more!)

Join our team for this informational webinar where we will discuss the 3D Digital Game Art
competition and hear about our free training opportunities to support educators and students
participating in the competition. We will also be discussing the proposed additions to the official
WorldSkills offerings around Game Development and Animation and sharing information about
a global game jam we are hosting for students interested in game development!
