Description:
Deltek is a leading retailer in London for supplying and selling
various products to different types of customers in the U.K and is to improving the sales
through the services like: network of the dealers, phone, direct sales and the sales peoples.
All of the sales information will be stored in the data warehouse.
The universe creation of information was extracted from the data
warehouse, this universe data is organized according to the requirements of the
organization for multidimensional analysis such as customers, products, vendors,
transactions and dealers. The main objective of this project is to helpful to the senior and
middle level management of the organization to improve the sales as well as to take the
decisions based on the reports and get the knowledge of the new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

 Involved in designing the report requirements templates (RRT) according to the business

client needs.

 Developed variables and formulas according to the RRT.

 Resolved loops by creating Aliases.

 Designed report with scope of analysis is improving the performance of drill reports.

Description:
This banking corporation with more than 1500 branches and 4 zones
located all over Australia. Unlike normal banking this provides payday loans i.e. small loans
for a short period. This application captures data into flat files, where as application pumps
huge amount of data into production database, which makes it impossible to maintain it
beyond 90 days, which is stored in flat files and a database. Each location at the end of the
day has to pump data into central zones. Each location daily generates reports for different
purposes.
They needed a data warehouse so that they could maintain historical
data at central for integration analyze business in different locations, according to profit
areas. Scope of this project is to develop all types of reports where business objects
universe is a data source. The warehouse is created using ETL tool Data Stage.

Responsibilities:

 Requirements study, analysis, Design and development.

 Specified joins and checked the cardinalities.

 Resolved loops by creating Aliases and contexts.

 Created the reports using B.O functionalities like combined quires, slice and dice and

drilldown and drill up, @functions, crossed tabs, master detail etc .

 Created Reports with graphical representation such as Bar charts, Pie charts for

multidimensional analysis.

 Created Web Intelligence documents using Info View.

Description:
JOANN Provides timely, consistent, comparable and accurate information for
users to use for business decision making purpose. JOANN is having 650 outlets all over the
world. JOANN wants to monitor its business as single unit. Out of the 650 outlets having
different data source like some companies are having Flat files, some companies use Excel,
Oracle, and Sybase etc. Each company will have their own account structure.
JOANN wants to bring all companies to common platform so that the account
structure can be unique across all the companies. All the companies data fragmented loaded
to Data Warehouse through ETL process using Informatica tool and Reporting is done
through Business Objects. Reports include product wise analysis, Geographical wise analysis
and Time based analyses, Forecast analysis which are key aspects of this project. A report
generated by this warehouse helps the management to study and analyze the business
status.

Responsibilities:

 Involved in Design of Universe.


 Identified the Joins and checked the cardinalities.
 Created prompt and filter condition as per requirements.
 Resolved loops by creating Aliases.
 Created reports as per user specifications like combined Queries, Slice and Dice, Drill
