REFLECTION:
“Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked
forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And
He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.”
– Isaiah 55:6-7

As I entered to the world of REL103- The Church, I felt something new-

a new that can modify me. I came up with an idea wherein I can visualized
myself going closer to God and that begins when I decided to join in
apostolate services with the help of our dear university. And I think that, it is
one of the reason why I am so much grateful to stay here.
On the day when our instructor tells us about this matter, I feel
different emotions. And that emotion differs most especially when I step in
to engage myself in Apostolate Activities. Each day when I enter to the
church to do a simple act of loving to God, I always say to myself that I do
this not for everyone who saw me sweep off the floor, wipe the seats and
clean the surroundings but rather I focus to God and I offer this all for him. I
also realized that the feeling of relief was there if you choose to be with God’s
kingdom. He gives me an enlightenment that indeed life is not full of
happiness but you can find the real and genuine form of happiness in serving
our lord.
Therefore as an end, I can bravely say that through my service in our
church for 10 days, I know that I came to God without any hesitation and not
just for this paper. I realized that with this practice, I became closer to him
since I witness that God is calling me for my mission- which is to love and
serve him while I am able to and when the end of life come.
