INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction to organization study:

An organization is a social arrangement which pursues collective goals, which controls its
own performance, and which has a boundary separating it from its environment. organization is the
association formed by a group of people who see that there are benefits available from working
together towards some common goals.

Organization studies are the study of individual and group dynamics in an organizational
setting, as well as the nature of organizations themselves. Whenever people interest in organizations,
many factors come in to play. Organizational studies attempt to understand and model these factors.
Organizational study is essential to any B.COM graduate as it helps then to connect theory with
practice.

Organization study refers to the study of organization as a whole and getting adequate
knowledge with various departments in the organization. This study is based on the different aspects
and dimensions of different departments of the company.

Organizational studies encompass a variety of areas that examine different aspects of

organizations. Although many of these approaches are functionalist in nature, critical research offers
an alternative framework for understanding the field. An essential aspect of the study of management
is organizational change.

Organization study involves an examination of the organization as a whole, including its

various departments, to gain a comprehensive understanding of its operations and processes. It aims
to provide adequate knowledge about how an organization functions and how it can be improved.
The study was carried out at E.I.D. PARRY INDIA LTD., Nellikuppam
