THE KEY TO LESS STRESS


A DECIDE Work in groups. Think about the stressors the class brainstormed. Which ones can be
reduced by taking simple actions? Discuss the actions below and your own ideas. Then choose
your top three actions for your podcast.

B PREPARE Plan your podcast. Use the questions below to help you. Make notes for (1) the
introduction, (2) your actions and the reasons why they’re effective, and (3) the conclusion.
Then choose 1–3 representatives from your group who will present your podcast to the class.

Introduction: How can you get listeners interested in your topic? Can you tell a funny story?
Give an interesting statistic? Mention some common stressors?

Specific Actions: What actions will you focus on? Why are they effective? What examples can you
share to help illustrate them?

Conclusion: How will you summarize your main points? What’s the most important idea you want
listeners to come away with?
