2024 NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH

Lipunang patas sa bagong pilipinas kakayahan ng kababaihan, patunayan!

The 2024 National Women’s Month was held in the PUP Pulilan campus library on March 15,
2024, Saturday. The resource speakers are atty. Lilibeth R. Carao, president of PMAP Bulacan
year 2024, and Dr. Zenaida D. San Agustin.
as far as I can remember, Atty. Carao is specialized in cases about the abuse of women and
children, so I learned a lot about women's rights and what other laws I didn't know yet, and what
else can we do to avoid or fight abusers, she also gave an example such as a case he held
about a father raping his daughter and his abuse of his wife and I just found out that A victim of
abuse can still seek protection from the barangay and not only from the court. she also looked
back on how the laws that women have today started or where they started.
Ending a very good discussion with the atty. Carao just had a little chat and the next to share
was Dr. Zenaida D. San Agustin, Dr. San Agustin also the rights of women but with the word of
God from the bible, and it was an honor to hear the beautiful voice of Dr. San Augustin while
discussing women's rights.
and the last guest is sir. Manny shared his satisfaction at the end of the seminar, it was
heartwarming that even though his profession was not about women's rights, he was able to
attend at the invitation of our teacher, maám Elena, and also shared a small sample from on his
product which was liked by all the students who attended the seminar, as well as on the lessons
learned and information from the two respected speakers.
