I am pleased to be writing to you today to express my interest in the position of a registered nurse at the
University of Cebu Medical Center (UC-MED). I am intrigued by your post on the Facebook page about
the wonderful opportunity that you are offering. I believe that my 4-year study course of skills and
knowledge in nursing care make me an excellent fit for this job opening.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and have been exposed to nursing care and procedures needed to
effectively and efficiently manage patients and their relatives. I am a calm and well-organized nurse with
passion and commitment to providing quality care for the patients, necessary interpersonal skills and
communication, and great coordination with minimal supervision with the staff to strive for the standard
healthcare services and quality care of the institution.

In my exposure at the Minglanilla RHU, I participated health-related programs and nursing care as a
nursing immersion student of the municipality. Specifically, I have:

• Assisted in the Mosquito Control Program and Survey that minimized the number of cases in the
barangay.
• Participated in Family Care Program for pregnancy control and family planning with the awareness of
child immunization program to lessen child illnesses and mortality in the locality.
• Assisted in the Municipal’s Medical Mission Drive which turned into a successful program with various
successful minor surgical operations and medical assistance with the localities.

Though I have greatly enjoyed taking part in the local health unit, I believe that working with your hospital
enables me to use my skills and knowledge to the fullest extent and grow the necessary intrapersonal and
interpersonal communication for the best quality care and nursing interventions for the patients, their
relatives and to the medical team. I would love the opportunity to put my capabilities and education to
provide the best service in your hospital and would love to explain my expertise further during an
interview.
