Hiring Manager
Banner Ironwood Medical Center
37000 N Gantzel Rd
Queen Creek, AZ 85140

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing this letter with the intent of being considered for a nursing position as part of the
Outpatient Observation Unit. As a current nursing student at the University of Arizona BSN-IH
program, I have grown to truly enjoy the roles and responsibilities of a nurse in providing care
and I would love the opportunity to further my involvement and effort in helping those recover
from procedures and follow them in their journey to discharge in a more close-knit and personal
setting.

As a nursing student, I have acquired 517 clinical hours within various hospitals that have led me
to become comfortable working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, providing all
forms of life-saving care like medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living,
IV insertions, foley care, and much more. In addition, my current work as a medical assistant the
Fertility Treatment Center has allowed me to build and perfect my skills to communicate
between provider and patients routinely and effectively, all while gaining more experience in
medication administration, monitoring patients during procedures, and phlebotomy. Previous
volunteer work as an Emergency Medical Technician through the University of Arizona’s EMS
helped me develop a passion for helping others responding to 911 calls around campus and
utilize strategies and techniques to rapidly provide high quality emergency care at the BLS level
and prepare me for any situation and problem. Being a bilingual speaker and having volunteered
as a bilingual Spanish medical interpreter within health care facilities in Southern Arizona has
strengthened my communication skills, professionalism, and understand the importance of
patient-provider interactions. I was humbled by this opportunity, and I want to continue giving
back to the Hispanic community by breaking down language barriers and strive for health equity.

Through my various professional and education-related experiences, I have developed skills that
I feel would benefit me in a nursing position within this unit and help me provide quality and
personalized care for the patients I am assigned. I am honored for the chance to become a part of
the nursing team within the Outpatient Observation Unit and would love the opportunity to
continue to dedicate myself to patients in need and to this beautiful profession.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I look forward to speaking with you!

Best Regards,
Caroline Manrubia
