RE : OBSERVANCE OF NATIONAL BIBLE MONTH - REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11163

1. All concerned are hereby informed of the observance of the National Bible Month, as mandated by
Republic Act No. 11163.

2. Republic Act No. 11163, signed into law on December 20, 2018, designates the month of January every year
as National Bible Month. This celebration aims to underscore the importance of the Bible in shaping the
moral fabric of our nation and promoting spiritual and moral development among Filipinos.

3. In line with this, we encourage all students, faculty, and staff to take part in activities that celebrate the
significance of the Bible in our lives. Here are some suggested activities and initiatives for the month:

3.1 Bible Reading Sessions: Organize reading sessions where students can read and reflect on selected
passages from the Bible. This can be done during designated class hours or through extracurricular
activities.

3.2 Essay and Art Contests: Conduct essay and art contests that encourage students to express their
thoughts and reflections on the teachings of the Bible. This can be an excellent way to promote
creativity and critical thinking.

3.3 Project Dasal Arrange prayer services or moments of reflection where students, faculty, and staff can
come together to pray for guidance, wisdom, and unity.

4. We encourage all teachers to incorporate relevant themes from the Bible into their lessons during this
month. Let us take this opportunity to instill values such as love, compassion, and respect for one another
as we celebrate National Bible Month.

5. Your cooperation and active participation in these activities will contribute to the success of our
observance of National Bible Month. Let us work together to create an environment that fosters spiritual
growth and moral development among our students.
