    This lecture shows us three reasons why should we study information systems

    AND information technology

    ➢ First Reason :
    Is To become a person knowledgeable about IS and IT
    We will enjoy many benefits from being informed such as :
    • understand what is behind those applications
    • be in a position to developpe the quality of IT applications
    • and be updated about new information technologies
    • also it will help us to use IT when we start our own business.

    ➢ The second reason


    is that the organization we might join will be undergoing a digital
    transformation.
    Digital transformation is the business strategy that bring IT to improve
    employee, customer, and business partner relationships

    ➢ The third reason


    Is that users now play key roles in every step of this process because managing
    the IS function within an organization is no longer the responsibility of the IS
    department
