On March 11, 2020, the WHO had declared the coronavirus outbreak a global pandemic.

Because the virus spread rapidly throughout the world.

Its started in Colombia due to in February 2020 foreigners had arrived from Europe
carrying the virus.

When the health emergency was declared, activities that generated crowds were suspended,
biosafety protocols were established, promoting the use of face masks, hand washing and
physical distancing.

Due to the constant bad news and confinement, damage to people's physical and mental
health had been generated in the population, stress, anxiety and fear increased, as well as
changes in habits.

But not everything was bad, remote and collaborative work, and streaming platforms were
encouraged

Humanity had continued despite the situation

Thanks to scientific advances, different pharmaceutical companies developed vaccines

against Covid-19 because they needed to prevent and control the pandemic that had caused
millions of deaths and had affected health, the economy and society worldwide.

By April 2022, with a significant portion of the population vaccinated, Colombia began
returning to pre-pandemic normalcy. Public health measures were gradually relaxed,
signaling a hopeful end to the pandemic in Colombia.
