Introduction
MS Word is a word processor developed by Microsoft. It was first released on October 25, 1983. It has
advanced features which allow you to format and edit your files and documents in the best possible way.
Use to make professional-quality documents, letters, reports, etc.

 Ribbon Tabs In Ms Word


The Ribbon is a user interface element; it is located below the Quick Access Toolbar and the Title Bar. It
comprises seven tabs; Home, Insert, Page layout, References, Mailing, Review and View.

Ribbon consider of following Tabs;

 File
 Home
 Insert
 Page Layout
 References
 Mailings
 Review
 View
 Developer
 File tab
File tab is located in the upper-left corner. File menu has;

 Save: - It will save your document (Ctrl+S).


 Open: - It will open your word document files (Ctrl+O).
 Close: - It will close the document file (Ctrl+W).
 Info: - It will give information of the document.
 Recent: - It will show recent documents you have opened.
 New: - In New you will get Ms Office templates offline and online.
 Print: - It will print the document you’re working (Ctrl+P).
 Help: - It is the help and support centre of Ms word if someone has any
problem about Ms word they can contact them.
 Exit: - It will directly close Ms Word.
