About this product:

This freebie was created for my “College Ready” series but can be
used with any grade level that practices complementary and
supplementary angles. This engaging activity is a fun way for
students to find pairs of angles that have a sum of 90 or 180.
Students circle pairs of angles with these sums, but the pair must be
in two boxes that are side by side either vertically or horizontally or
share a corner diagonally. After finding the angle pairs on the game
board, there is another page for students to explain what they know
about supplementary and complementary angles. This is when you
find out if they really understand the concept.

S upplementary Complementary
1 0

On supplementary, the “S” was turned into an 8 and a 1 was

placed in front of it while a zero was placed behind it. This will
help because supplementary angles are a pair of angles with a
sum of 180. On complementary, the “C” was turned into a 9 and
the “o” afterward looks like a zero. This helps because
complementary angles are a pair of angles with a sum of 90
degrees.

the sentence.
complementary because …
Angle 1 and angle 2 are ________________________

Together the two angles make a right angles

which is 90 degrees. Angle 1 and angle 2
must have a sum of 90 which makes them
complementary.

3. Create two problems involving supplementary and complementary

angles. Answer your own questions.
