Therefore, all the project required materials wll be sampled and sent to the Third-Party independent agency laboratories with the full witness and inspection by the Royal Commission. The testing will identify the materials which is suitable to the project site. Any materials will not be used until testing has nat been done and completed and the requisite Third Party Inspection agency reports are furnished and reviewed, = Shall also include within his Project Quality Plan a procedure describing hhow he proposes to induct and train project personnel (including sub- contractors and new employees} in the contents and requirements of his Project Quality Plan. Records shall be maintained. 5.3 Inspection and Testing = In view of the above, the QC/A Manager has developed as Inspection and ‘Testing Plan after carefully reviewing the Project Contract documents and the specifications, to cover all the required testing and inspection activities specified under the scope of this project. This ITP will be followed and implemented extensively to provide the Quality coverage and to document work in the project, = An important part of the ITP is the testing of the materials. Samples will be collected by personnel from the Third Party Inspection agency from the site and then moved carefully from the site to their laboratories for the tests to be conducted. Some of the tests that will be done are Field Density Tests and classification of soils. The rate of sampling will follow the standards and limits as per required Stondards and Specifications, = If the works is taken by sub-contractor the contractor will not commence until all the preliminary documentation procedures are not furnished and approved by the Royal Commission. = Establish and Implement a procedure for inspection and testing to ensure a Royal Commission o Jubal and Yanbu @ sacomentaes Method Statement that all specified inspections and tests are carried out and the results documented. This procedure shall define the requirement for the production of a Project Inspection and Test Plan (or a series of Project, Inspection and Test Plans). = Inspection and Test Plans shall be prepared by suitably qualified and ‘experienced personnel who understand the processes involved. Prior to submission, they shall be signed, dated and authorized by the Contractor's Quality Control Manager. = The initial submission of the Contractor's Project Quality Plan shall contain, a List of all the Inspection ard Test Plans applicable to the scope of the project. 5.4 Follow Up & Evaluation = The specified activities shall be first and foremost visually checked and inspected thoroughly before any further activity can proceed.
